Recently built a hackintosh, and although it recognises my 720p HD 32" Samsung TV fine, the screen itself seems very pixelated/sharp, especially compared with my other macs. Especially obvious in the text displayed on the hackintosh.
any idea how to fix this? I've taken the sharpness down to 0...
Dude... I don't understand anything in your guide. I've downloaded a zipped document that has a PDF of a load of code, but since the guide is written in broken sentences and I do not have a DSDT I do not know what I am doing.
Can't you just explain in simple terms a step by step?!
GA-Z87-D3HP...
This entire guide is confusing me unbelievably. Why is it so complicated? I wish the guides were seperate and not 'if you need this, refer here. But if you have this you cant do this so do this instead but only using this tool and after editing this.'
Can someone please help me?
Z87-D3HP...
So I finished pretty much perfecting my hackintosh yesterday. It was working for about 5 hours, turned it off a few times during that to move it around the house a bit etc.
But then it suddenly freezed. I thought that was odd, checked the USBS and unplugged them, tried different USB ports etc...
For me this error occurs when my BIOS has (by itself) changed back to vt-d=enabled or intel graphics virtualisation=enabled.
I fix this by disabling both of these options then saving and exiting BIOS set up. This tends to happen if I've removed the power or done a hard restart for any reason...
Okay this is a pain. I have the same exact hardware as you, and I cannot get it working, but here, in a 'multi beast' config thread you have posted chameleon set up?
Could you please post a multi beast screenshot like everyone else, I need the help
Okay so now I can only boot to my Hackintosh HD if I use -x -v -PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes
Sorry but I'm a noob, how can I make it so I don't require these boot flags to boot? If I don't use them I get kernel or bluetooth errors. I've tried using multi beast to boot with PCIRootUID=1 and...
Soooooo I had a bluetoothcontroller error after my install, and tried deleting all bluetooth kexts (didn't work) and redoing the USB and reinstalling mavericks using the new USB among other things but nothing worked... then at some point I got a 'bluetooth controller missing' error, I can't...
Using:
intel i7 4770 processor
Gigabyte Z87-D3HP motherboard
Trying to boot the installer via USB using unibeast but it gets to the grey apple logo with the spinning loading wheel, then hangs.
- Won't go further with -x.
- Tried using GraphicsEnabler=No.
In -v mode the last line it shows...
Thank you, I managed to miss that bit when I was looking at the more basic essential parts. Well that's a shame. But I've just realised (I'm having a slow day) that I was planning on having a second HDD that runs windows 7 as well, hooked up to the same motherboard etc. If I bought a GTX 960...
Hi,
I'm in the process of building my first Hackintosh. I'm going to be using an i7 4770 processor with a Gigabyte z87-d3hp motherboard.
I'm also going to get a GPU, and I was thinking of the GTX 760 until my friend informed me that the GTX 9-series are out very soon. Will these be...
I have just begun my hackintosh. All of the basics are build (adding cd drive, GPU, fans etc later on) and I begun the installation. I've done the first section of tony86x's guide, up to the point of making the bootable USB. Now I need to enter my BIOS, but I cannot.
I've tried the del button...
complete noob here, but if I follow your other guide for wiring the front headers, will each of the then new connectors plug in side by side into the 20 pin port in my Ga-z87-d3hp mobo?
