Do you have Windows as a dual boot? I think when I was trying to get bluetooth working, I was able to enable it in Windows to have it work on OS X, but I think it stopped working for some reason like yours. What does your console.log say?
How does the enabling the BT work for the wifi? I do not understand the instructions.
How do I do binary patches and do I paste the kernelandkextpatches?
I am fairly certain it is sleeping. The console.log would say otherwise, and its not draining the amount of battery it would be if it was awake, but its a little bit more than if it was sleeping. I do have flashing LED during sleep.
Ok I updated all the kexts, I think the bluetooth is from the M.2. card that provides wireless. Should I null the card reader? When I touch the laptop in sleep mode, it is a little warm around the CPU area I believe. I checked the console.log but I didn't see any activity on it. Other users said...
Rehabman, you've looked at my ioreg before, so I don't think you will find anything in there. What other factors can cause battery draining? Could mismatched ram cause it, or something else I am not looking at?
For me I have sleep issues that make it shut down when the power is low, and it drains quite a bit in sleep mode (15% overnight, I might have a bad model though).
The trackpad is less than stellar on this model, but thats not Yosemite's fault. I don't think BT works but I don't use it either...
Thank you. I had accidentally used PS2 daemon for both.
I also bought a bcm94352z wireless card. Is it supposed to be auto detected? I saw this https://github.com/the-darkvoid/BrcmPatchRAM?LH_BIN=1&_sop=15&_dmd=2 and it mentions that bluetooth information should come up. It doesn't...
That's exactly what I did. I changed it in the accessibility and it did not disable the trackpad. Trackpad is disabled as in when I go to trackpad, it says its disabled and to go to accessibility options, but it does not stop it from working.
Did you mean this part?
sudo cp org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons
sudo cp VoodooPS2Daemon /usr/bin
I have installed it, or at least followed these instructions. I don't think its working. When I launch EtreCheck, it is listed as a launch daemon.
I am using a USB mouse, when I disable it with the mouse connected, I get a trackpad is disabled when I go to trackpad options, but its still working (now I have no options for trackpad but I can still use it as input). Any way for me to send you a log? I looked at it and it says the bug was...

Thank you, I will try some of those settings.
What value does fingerz go up to?
I am also wondering how to edit the ignore accidental trackpad input to have a higher value if possible.
Is there documentation on this stuff?
