Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

Yes, I did, and I also did "Repair permissions. Boot without caches. Rebuild cache. Reboot 2x." some times.

How can I further troubleshoot AppleHDA.kext?

Am I supposed to do step 5 of the guide? (Patching Kexts on-the-fly)
Because using the hp installer seems to add those lines in Clover Configurator's Kernel and Kext Patches section. Still I followed AppleHDA guide from the link that's in the guide.

How about the fixes in clover configurator (under Acpi)? Am I supposed to tick any of them?

Hello all! nguyenmac, could you please point me to the right place to get the wifi 43224HMS working on 6,1 SMBIOS whenever you get a chance --or anyone knowledge about the topic please and thanks. I ask because the kexts method, clover injection, and DSDT patch failed for me. But then again I am still learning, so I may have screwed it up somehow.

Kext Injection/Clover Injection/DSDT patch + patch AirPortBrcm4360: Mac-2E6FAB96566FE58C (Board MacBook Air 5,1) -> your SMBIOS board.

Or you can use PBI CE to generate a config.plist with suitable patch for your system.

The latest PBI CE added support for your model (experiment only).

And it is using SMBIOS 8,2

No No. Just follow the guide is enough.

Your AppleHDAIDT is not the one included in PBI CE. Why do you install it????????

Reinstall kexts by PBI CE please.

Awesome. I am gonna try the latest PBI first. Thanks man. Nice. Now with SMBIOS 8,2 we can keep AICPM? Never mind, I will give it a go after work and report back.

Yes, 8,2 + AICPM. No black screen anymore.

Just reinstalled Yosemite.

Installation went fine. Boots to Yosemite after first installation.

Looking for PBI from Christmas (the last beta update). Ran the one updated today. Rebooted after running PBI, clover loads, but then laptop gets stuck on Apple logo at about 25%. Completely reinstalled yosemite AGAIN with same problem. What happened?

Tried booting yosemite with CLOVER partition on install usb. I get a verbose boot with all the background information running. It says "SuperIODevice: {Fatal} found unsupported chip!

Please post the CLOVER folder created by PBI.
