How To Install OS X Yosemite Using Clover

Mount your EFI partition.

Navigate to /Clover/themes

Delete the christmas folder

Don't want to sound dumb, but how to mount the EFI partition and complete this task. All I can find is to go into terminal but nothing more....

Any help would be great!

Thanks

EDIT***
Was able to find out how to get rid of christmas folder....Will let you know what happens when I reboot!

EDIT **
I was able to get rid of the christmas folder and the new year folder and now I get the Clover screen.....Do we have to have a boot screen? How is it that I never have had one of these before? My Hack has always just booted into the Bootup screen and then my login and password screen showed up....How do I get this back up and running?

Thank you

I just tried to disable the the Serial ATA Port 0 that my Chimera/Multibeast installation is on and I don't get an option to boot from the USB drive.

I tried to change the boot order to have UEFI: USB DISK 3.0 PMAP be first, followed by the "USB DISK 3.0 PMAP" which I believe would be Legacy. Either way neither seems to meet the qualifications to boot from directly.

I should be able to boot directly from this USB drive right? Did I possible miss a step to make this drive bootable, or is it more likely that I have a BIOS option set to not allow booting from a USB drive?

Motherboard is a
Gigabyte Z87X-OC Series 8

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone gotten Clover to boot with a MSI R9 280x 3GB? If so, what config.plist was use?

News on clover or yosemite?

I'm triying to make a USB and don't work. I make a lot before and all's work on my PC but not now :/

I am having similar issues with the install not booting. I followed the guide exactly (or at least i think I did by triple checking all the options) -- H77n-wifi board w/ GTX 650 TI video card using the nvidia config file. I get a bunch of errors with regard to AppleUSBEHCI unable to obtain ownership and then a missing bluetooth controller transport (see attached files).

~10s after the missing bluetooth controller message happens the screen gets weird like the picture and that stop sign like icon appears. Any ideas?

Hi,
Did you resolve this issue?

Thank You.

According to the Clover Wiki you set the timeout to 0 and then it will boot straight to the OS without going to the loader

<key>Timeout</key>
<integer>5</integer>
The boot loader will pause for 5 seconds after starting before automatically loading an operating system. If a key is pressed during this period of time, the countdown is stopped. Options:

0 - GUI is not invoked, the OS is loaded instantly
-1 - GUI is invoked, automatic OS loading is turned off
Clover must have be able to find a default entry for it to automatically boot into an OS see DefaultVolume below.

NOTE: If the Timeout integer is set to 0, hold any key when powering on to invoke the bootloader GUI.

So I followed the instructions. Everything worked just fine after previously getting the pinwheel of death. But now my second monitor isn't working. Im running:
i5
Asus GeForce GTX 660
Z87x-UD3h

I just made a really stoopid mistake. I was trying to create a bootable Clover USB stick, and accidentally installed Clover to the root of my mid-2007 iMac's boot drive running Yosemite. I haven't rebooted the iMac yet, so I may still be able to recover. I installed the boot loader, but didn't copy any kexts yet. How can I back my way out of this mess?

I think I followed your instructions correctly but I still can't login to anything that requires me to use my apple id. Is there a chance that your guide to making iMessage work will not work all the time?
