I'm getting a kernel panic when I use it... .

not a PM problem.
patching a patched dsdt
config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes
set all to NO.
Likely the reason the ssdt is not working.

Hello !

I sucessfully installed AppleHDA on my Laptop and sound works (ALC233, Sony Vaio SVF1521E2E)
However, the sound works few seconds, but the quality become terrible. The problem is system wide because the issue occurs in iTunes, Youtube, and all other apps using sound. I'm using Clover UEFI.

I Tried booting using chameleon USB Stick, and sound works great with it, but i've many things not working on chameleon, so i want to fix the issue with Clover UEFI.

Hi Guys,
I hope some of you can help me out, I got a "new" PC as a present and try to upgrade it to a hackintosh. I already got a working hack-laptop but don't have that great experience with DSDT so I hope you can help me:

My system should be in my profile
Unfortunately I'm not sure which guide to use,
the "5 Series/X58/X79" as I got a Biostar H55HD or the "Discrete Graphics (requires motherboard HDMI audio)" as the board does have the option to use an integrated graphics but my CPU i7 860 doensn't include one..? BIOS Version is the newest available.

How far i got:
My DSDT shows me a device called GFX0, I'm not sure if thats really my HD5450 or some kind of dummy for an IGP?

According to the IOREG, my display is attached to pop3@3 which made me guess I have to insert the DSDT code over there but adding it or modifying the sample with adress 0x00003000 didn't help me any further.
