Thanks again for the feeback.

About the other files with kext, I do not really select them, you are right...

I have to tell you that I have everything working. My best install so far, that is why I documented it... I dont want to forget that... :D

And by the way, Airplay is with Itunes for every mac...

Does anyone have issues with audio going to sleep and popping when waking up when using iMac system definition. If I am playing audio everything is fine but is i stop playing any type of audio for about 5 minutes then audio sleeps. If any type of audio happens then it pops or wakes up and is fine. When using macpro 3.1 this does not happen at all. I have version 1.1 of this motherboard

My AUdio is good. It was not with Multibeast... now even when it recovers from sleep the sound is good.

Hi there,

Thank you for a thorough description of the process.

I had installed Yosemite using Unibeast/Multibeast and was unable to get iMessages working, nor would it wake after sleep. I'm hoping Clover will help with these issues and thanks to your post, I have the detail I need to move ahead.

Can I ask a quick question? Would I have to make any changes due to the fact that my hardware is slightly different to yours (CPU and graphics card)? If so, what changes would you suggest.

Thanks again for a great guide. I'm looking forward to having a fully functioning Yosemite build.

Hello aphorton,

Thanks for your support.
I had the same problems than you with Multibeast but it was normal... imessage gets tricky.
I think you will have to make some changes. Read here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-gtx670-multibeast-settings-3.html#post889904
and here
https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh
These are because of the CPU.

I think no changes required because of the Graphic Cards.

Good Luck

hello jbesclapez,

thanks for the guide.
I was able to instal Yosemite. I had big problems to get the steps 15 - 20 right and got some failures.

I rebooted anyway but it gave me boot error and did not start.
Right now i can only boot up using the USB disk and verbose mode.

Some question, shouldn't i install all kext in the EFI folder under kext 10.10 too ?

I having hard time to find the right spot for the Trim Patch in the config plist (it looks different to what you show).
Can i just run multibeast and apply the trim patch from there ?

Might be dumm questions but i am no crack like you and are only able to follow your instructions : (

Thanks

Thanks for all the hard work here. Can you please clarify a couple of things in your instructions?

In Step3: Tweak Bootable USB Drive you say the following....

2. In the Menu bar of Clover Configurator, import the config.plist that is in the folder EFI/folder/CLOVER/ that you downloaded previously

Can you please clarify where we should have downloaded this previously? Is this coming from the Unzip EFI.zip files? If so I several options in your screenshots that look like they are not in this

Also on the following step:

14. Copy the EFI folder from your USB “files” directory (the one from billy) to your EFI on your OSX USB Key

Can you clarify "the one from billy"?

Thank again!
Cheers

I got struck at progress bar, it does not proceed even after a hour. I don't have any graphic card installed other than the inbuilt one. I choose Install OSX Yosemite apple logo appears followed by progress bar then nothing happens even after a hour, I repeated three time on both USB port 2 and 3.

I have a working (multibeast method) iMessage on my Yosemite but I have couple of issues (random freeze and usb 3 freeze). Can I use the serial number, SmUUID, etc from this working Yosemite to built my USB install OS X yosemite drive with Clover Configurator (I can just copy paste my current serial to Clover Configurator)?

Could you please clarify these steps as other user also asked

2. In the Menu bar of Clover Configurator, import the config.plist that is in the folder EFI/folder/CLOVER/ that you downloaded previously

I took your attached file for this purpose "zip Unzip EFI.zip", I hope the path must be "EFI/CLOVER/" rather what you wrote "EFI/folder/CLOVER/"

14. Copy the EFI folder from your USB “files” directory (the one from billy) to your EFI on your OSX USB Key

I just copied the EFI folder from USB path: files/ (where the config.plist was configured by me). I don't understand what you mean by "the one from billy"

Hello and thanks for your support.

I see that you are using a different processor. I think it will create issues. Have a look here :
Read here: GA-Z77X-UD5H + GTX670: Multibeast settings
and here
https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh

Did you find "
KextsToPatch" in the config file???
