That seems to have enabled sleep but upon wake neither the touchpad or wifi are working. Keyboard works fine.

What is the manufacturer of your trackpad? Which ps2 drivers are you using?

What Wifi do you have?

It's an Elantech trackpad, for which I'm using EMlyDinEsH's kext.

The wifi is an atheros ar5b95. Upon waking it says "no hardware installed" when I click the menubar wifi icon.

*Update - just enabled sleep again (without restart) and trackpad is working fine now. Still no wifi though (no hardware installed). Checking the console I seemed to get "Reconnecting the touchpad......." "Touchpad enabled" the second time I wake from sleep. Didn't happen the first time for some reason.

Anyway, it's not really important. The wifi issue however is stumping me.

Make sure you have only vanilla networking kexts installed (IO80211Family.kext, IONetworkingFamily.kext), and then install toledayARPT.kext from here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html

Ok, I must not have noticed but the wifi issue isn't only upon wake from sleep, I just reboot and have no wifi. Could it be related to the USB kext or kernal flag?

Should I continue with the toledayARPT.kext install?

Refer to post #106.

I'm running vanilla kexts afaik, however I realised I have an AtherosWIFIInjector.kext. I'm assuming that needs to go?

It depends on what is in it. Also, you must be certain you are running vanilla kexts.

Deleted AtherosWIFIInjector.kext and installed toledaARPT.kext. Wifi has now returned and sleep works with zero issues. It does take about 20 seconds to kick in however. Thanks man.

Last thing I need to figure out is clamshell sleep and wake. Thanks for all your help.

Quite stumped on this

Sorted the PreventUserIdleSystemSleep issue; Boom audio app was the cause. This however doesn't resolve auto-sleep after X amount of time (energy saver preferences), nor does closing the lid initialize sleep.

*It also must be noted that opening the lid (after a forced sleep, via shutdown menu) doesn't wake laptop either. Neither opening or closing the lid seem to register in the console.
