Anyone else having Wi-Fi problems? I ran MB to fix my audio and TRIM, but still had a "No Wi-Fi hardware installed".
I downloaded the IO80211Family.kext, put it on desktop, ran the kext beast, rebooted - now it recognises my TP-Link WN881ND but cannot connect to a network. What do I do?
It was working fine on 10.9.1. I had a similar problem when I went from 8.2-8.3, couldn't connect to network. 10.8.5 was fine though.
Thanks for any help.
Ok, guys, I did the update BUT I'm here to help...
It seems that 10.9.2 has PROBLEMS WITH EXTERNAL DISPLAYS (99% of hackintosh?), and because of that, when I rebooted, after the apple loading screen, my monitor shut off.
I have a GA-Z87n-WIFI, with i5-4670K and HD Graphics 4600.
What did I do? Simply UNPLUG HDMI MONITOR AND CONNECT IT VIA DVI. I don't know why, but it worked (after going crazy with secure boot, -x, -v, IGP...)
Hope this helps somebody!
(I apologize for my bad English).
instantlumpia,
try to log in using -x flag , if it worked go S/L/E and remove AppleHDA And HDAEnabler then Restart and log in using the normal mode when it works reinstall your Audio using MultiBeast and and repair permissions.
Your really should not be using a modified system kext for that. I sugest you search for instructions on making an injector or ask and see if someone can make you one for your card then you will never have this issue again with updates.
