Hi, i've got a Hackintosh witch a ATI HD 7750 and it wouldn't boot after Update to 10.9.2. I used to have GraphicsEnabler=No.
With GE=Yes I get a black screen... (no Signal?)
:( not cool. Always trouble with the Radeon
Do I have to reset any ATI Kexts?
Thanks for your help!

Update went fine for me too.
Lenovo W510, core i7 620M, NVIDIA FX880M

I'm using VoodooHDA so all I did was reinstall TRIM.

Seems as if there's a change to AMD framebuffers- if you use an AMD card, you may need to switch to GraphicsEnabler=Yes instead of GraphicsEnabler=No. Check out the following post for 6xxx/7xxx options:

I was finally able to boot back in with my 270x using GraphicsEnabler=Yes along with switching from DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI. I'm going try changing AtiConfig= to something other then default to see if it will fix my display "noise" issue on boot-up. Currently I have to sleep/wake the machine to get a normal look image. Otherwise at boot the image is loaded with digital noise and has a weird "pulsing" effect. Pretty much unusable. I posted a pic earlier in the thread.

just perfect so I needed to reinstall AppleHDA

Grrr. Won't boot now and my backup isn't booting. :( Had to jump to an older hackintosh machine I haven't been using to try and create an install disk, reinstall on my main machine then restore the data. Not a happy camper.
Be sure you r using the same boot flags you use during your initial install mine wouldn't boot normally and i had to use -x GraphicEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x2000 which is what i had to use originally to get to the install screen

As far as I understood, users with Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H motherboard that had followed Toleda's Mavericks: HDMI Audio - AppleHDA [Guide] should re-run MultiBeast and flag these options:

  • Drivers>Audio>With DSDT>ALC892
  • Drivers>Disk>TRIM Enabler>10.9.x TRIM Patch

Right?

(My English is a bit rusty)

Here's the step by step way to update:
Repair Permissions using the Disk Utility on the drive to be updated;*
Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;
Use the Software Update to download and install 10.9.2 (recommend using the Combo Update);
Re-boot;
Run MultiBeast for Mavericks and just select your audio driver to install and TRIM (if needed);
Re-boot; and
Repair Permissions again.

If you have TRIM enabled, check to see if it was affected by this update.

* You can use the Terminal instead of Disk Utility if you feel comfortable with a UNIX command:
Code:
sudo diskutil repairPermissions /

worked like charm for me using the app store on HP Media Center TV PC m8020n mobo Asus P5PL-LE cpu Intel(r) Core(tm) 2 Duo gpu Nvidia Geforce GT 640 network Intel(r) Pro/100 ve had to reinstall my multibeast settings had add the kernel flag npci=0x2000 to the org.chameleon.boot.plist and reinstall my audio kext and everything is golden

All went fine for me on Z87-UD3H, i7, GTX 580. I have a logitech C920 and that also appears to work fine.
Only disappointment is that Pixelmator is still not playing ball with NVidia and Hackintosh..

So with my 7750 i changed from GE=no to GE=yes
Now it boots, the screen stays black (i can hear the clicks from changing the volume though)
ACD is connected via mini DP Port.
right now I am trying all the different Framebuffers...
Any other ideas?
Thanks!!
Cheers Fleisch
