yes, i followed your steps…
multibeast default after selecting your DSDT file is showing mac pro 3,1, then i manually changes to iMac 14,2
"About this Mac" Windows shows iMac, looking at some log files in console app i read Mac Pro...
which screenshot i have to post ?

sorry i'm a noob, if i changed to imac BEFORE install things, how it can see as mac pro ?

Please share a pic of anything showing Mac Pro. I believe that old information is cached in the system somewhere. You can also try editing your SMBIOS.plist and removing any entry and serial # associated with the Mac Pro so that it only shows iMac.

Every "hackintosh" starts off after installation as a Mac Pro with 3,1 system definition. This is by design with UniBeast installer. When you manually install another system definition with MultiBeast, the system never clears out or replaces the old "Mac Pro" information. It just adds a new line of information to the system to read the new system definition.

ok now i understand, tomorrow will look and post what i find related to "mac pro"

thanx Lexone

OK i took a look at the logfile and what i noticed is that is the name of your computer. You can change this my going to System Preferences>Sharing as shown in the pic below. You can change this to whatever name you want so that other Macs or machines on your local network can see your machine by name. I guarantee that if you go there, your current machine name is "Mac-Pro-di-apple". Change this to whatever you want. My machine is named CustoMac in this image...therefore it will display as CustoMac.local in the logs.

Hey !

Many thanks for the text explanations ;) All seems ok except a boot0 error at the beginning but now everything works great :D
I just don't see your pictures... I attached a screenshot of what I see.View attachment to_lexone.tiff

Hey guys, me again !

I juste realized that I have an annoying problem... I piked up the EVGA gtx 780 3GB, and it seems that it is a GK110 B version of the chip because all open CL app crash when I launch them (even preview...).

I saw a lot of threads on the site about this issue, but it seems that hacking this misfortune is going to be really hard :s

Do you have any clue ?

Images should now be visible!!

I apologize to all who couldn't view my images. I realized that I mistakingly set some albums to "Private" which made the images only viewable by myself and moderators. I do apologize for the inconvenience. :banghead:

Im not sure as I am not having any of those issues. Which manufacturers GTX 780 did you purchase? Is it from Nvidia/EVGA? My card is an ASUS nVidia GeForce GTX780...

hi Lexone, confirmed images are back :)

i checked the sharing window and it says: "Mac-Pro-di-apple" … if this do not create issues i would leave so.
