Guide To Install Mavericks with Clover Bootloader

That's the only one on the USB drive. I have tried booting several times and I get to the language selection screen but it is distorted. I can only see half of the box and there are several lines running down the screen. I have been running OSX Mavericks not under UEFI for a while and know about the ssdt.aml used to boot that way and it works fine. So I know it's not the screen itself.
I put the 1600x900 config.plist file in the EFI/Clover folder as the instructions say. Anything else I'm missing? Something in the BIOS? Besides just turning UEFI boot on.
As I am getting to the install screen and the mouse and keyboard work I know it is just something to do with the resolution not being displayed correctly.

Upload the config.plist you're using. Also, what Clover version?

Side note: I have a 4530s w/1080p (AUOv4) working fine with Clover, but I did not install that way.

I'm using the latest files from here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/083x2j1mvmfh4l9/ZSYm2_iQRf. The link in the tutorial on the first page of this thread. The Clover.zip and the Config.zip files are the ones I downloaded.
The clover version says:

CLover Version 2K
Build 2014-01-03 12:28:37

Running on:
EFI Revision 2.00
Platfrom: x86_64 (64 bit)
Firmware: HPQ rev 2437
Screen Output: Graphics Output (UEFI), 1024x768

I attached the config.plist that I'm using form the zip file. The folder says HD3000 1600x900.

It looks ok, but I'm not sure of the effect with Graphics/DualLink=1 but Graphics/Inject/Intel=No. Maybe try Graphics/Inject/Intel=Yes.

Also, you might try setting the resolution in CC. GUI->Screen Resolution... select 1020x1080.

You might consider installing with my guide using Unibeast, and converting to Clover after installing...

Wow...you are the man. I changed that false to true and it worked!!! Thanks!!

One other thing I wanted to ask. I have been triple booting my Probook (Win 8.1/OS X Mavericks/Linux Mint 16) using your guide and I could probably do it in my sleep. Great guide by the way. How would I go about doing this using UEFI? I have created UEFI GPT bootable USB drives for Windows 8.1 and Linux Mint 16(both 64-bit) using Rufus in Windows. I know that the Hybid GPT/MBR is not needed with UEFI but is it similar to your guide other than that? Just need to know how to partition and what order to install. And what if anything needs fixed to boot properly. Thanks.

Im also interested in this, currently have OSX on SSD EFI, and windows 8.1 on HDD (sharing SSD EFI)

Im guessing install linux then install grub EFI, might try it on a separate partition after backing up EFI folder first, I can put it back with linux live USB if needed I guess if it breaks OSX/WIN?

There is information regarding multi-boot in post #1 here. In some ways, UEFI simplifies the process. Not sure about Linux.

I've taken to not installing Linux on any of my systems as I don't find it that useful. Instead I boot Linux from USB if I need to.

talking of linux on USB..

I purchased this recently to fix my HDD that OSX could not format for me

I know you can get gparted free, but this has so many useful apps, I didn't mind spending a few pounds :)

sits in my bowl of boot USB sticks now lol

Add InjectIntel=True to HD3000 config.plist, thanks for confirm.

Btw, what's your highest resolution in Clover screen? 1920x1080 or 1024x768?
