When you originally completed the installation did you use VoodooTSC?

If you did not, then boot using the boot flag CPUS=1 and see if that will get you to the desktop. Once there remove your DSDT from the Extra folder and reboot, using CPUS=1 again. Report back.

I'm back - no dice / I didn't use a dsdt either

So for some reason it wouldn't let me back in with those flags again

Check the photo this is with all the Multibeast 5.21 and just a -v to see what's going on

question.....so I have a backup drive...right a cloned copy of my main drive.....

I can acess that with the flags

cpus=1

so im up in the o/s but I must have ran MB wrong on the main drive......

So question is...should I be able to run multibeast and correct the install? (the MB kext installs that is)

or how should I approach the situation....... and what about that flag I have never had to use it before....but as i said earlier I don't seem to be able to go backwards b/c of Gigabytes repair....the flash utility won't let me....install F12

OK last question for now.....

What did the kernel flag CPUS=1 do?

I can boot after editing the chameleon.plist to CPUS=1

only problem the system only see's 1 processor......I have 6 reals and 12 virtuals o_O

Service par excellence.......Thank you. it worked a charm.
