everything was installed without problems!

Using GA-Z77X-UP5 TH
i7-3770
32gb ram
Ati 6870
Plextor 256gb SSD
1tb HDD

the best guide!!!

Did the update per the instructions from 10.8.5 to 10.9. Ran MB 6.0 to activate Audio (892), Network ( 8111), Trim and USB 3.0 using Quick Start method. Only issue on MB is that a "kernel" warning came up about unknown source and said OK anyway. Restart and boot was fine with all working except USB3.0 did not work correctly. I found the solution in the Maverick Build Forum. Basically, a newer kext was needed (version 1.0.9), I believe. Followed the work around and viola. USB 3.0 works great on all ports as 3.0/2.0.

Done. MB is MSI Z77A-G45 and i7-3770.

Thanks to all for all their comments. It has brought me a step closer to an actual install... but not yet!

I have a GA-EX58 (socket 1366), 6GB MoBo with SSD as a boot and 320GB data HDD.

I used uniboot to load with the following flags:
GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 ncpi=0x2000 darkwake=0 -v -x
This has enabled me to get into the Mavericks Install application.
However, after clicking "continue" on the install screen, the program asks for the HDD to install, and no HDD's appear! Checking with the Disk Utility show no HDD's except for the USB.:banghead:

Any ideas what to do?

this works for me on my EX58-UD3R > GraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=0
leave the rest out.

On Gigbabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 Please choose the DSDT Free method. The other methods will cause serious kernel panics and hanging systems.
For sound: choose Realtek ALCxxx without DSDT, ALC889 + Optional 3 Port Audio Enabler (DO NOT CHOOSE HDAEnabler). For network: Realtek-Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx V0.090. Also important: choose for Boot options GraphicsEnabler=Yes. For Misc: USB 3.0 -Universal by Zenith432 checked to enable the USB 3.0 ports.

I downloaded Multibeast 6.0 before installing Mavericks. Installed X no problem, re-booted using USB to X, went to start Multibeast and got - "Multibeast.app" can't open because it is from an unidentified developer. Any ideas?

MultiBeast 6 not working

any changes for the HD 7770?... it is so damn tricky for me since i have an i5 3470 with only hd2500 !!
my motherboard is asus p8z77vlx. did someone successfully get any osx running with this hardware ?
thanks guys

Worked really well!

With P8P67m-pro and Nvidia 9600GT: boot with "-x GraphicsEnabler=Yes" to the installer. Install Multibeast and add kernel boot flag "darkwake=0 dart=0" at the boot.plist, or else it won't pass the Apple logo with the spinning wheel after restart (Intel's Virtualization issue).

Thanks!

No problem for me too. I used unibeast (I made a mistake I formatted as MS_DOS instead of Mac journaled so a little bit of waste time) -v -x graphicsEnabler=yes. installed (took enough time to prepare some ravioli al pesto and eat them). Then Multibeast easy installation no voodoo installation (was not required) and disk utility repair permission. Reboot done. All set. MB is an Asus O7P55D-E-pro CPU i7
