WiFi should work out of the box even on safemode ( -x )
Is it not working for you?

I'll let you know if I find an audio solution.

No its not, when i installed OSX i could not even select wifi as an option. I am current waiting on 50ft ethernet cable so i can check to see if that is working. (The only option i have under "Network" is ethernet)

Sorry Im a newb, my MOBO does not have 802.11 just Gbe lan chip so i now realize it does not have built in wifi. I will go get a TP-link PCI express wifi adapter tomorrow and test it. But regarding my ethernet, when i download " hnak's AppleintelE100e.kext" I check /systems/library/extensions in terminal and it does not show up there.

With my set up I followed this steps and additionally I checked Drivers&Bootloaders > Drivers > Audio > Without DSDT > ALC### in Multibeast, otherwise audio won't work.

I'm having a problem with the mouse and keyboard, sometimes they freeze after boot and I need to reboot. I haven't pointed out what is the problem exactly but booting with -v seems to make things work.

So far everything seems to work: AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, Notes, Mail, Remainders, Contacts, VLC, Steam, Maya, iMessages is not working. So I would say it went all good

besides proper bluetooth support in 10.8.5 SPDIF out doesn´t work - I did the installation DSDT free and loaded ALC 892.

Is SPDIF working on your set up - what did u do?

nope still happening, quite frequently... mainly if i leave the machine to enter sleep, but I also found that Chrome hangs it... I will try to reload it soon, not sure if I should download the installer again with the 10.8.5 supp udate included in it, or if the first 10.8.5 will be fine...

I also I have radomly freezes. I'm a little desperate. I recently changed the motherboard Z77-DS3H with i7-3770k (10.8.4 without problems) to a Z87X-D3H with i7-4770k. I tested with 10.8.5 and 10.9 GM. In both cases with the same random hang. I'm suspecting FakeSMC(5.3.891) or Bluetooth(dongle usb 2.1 broadcom). I'm using MAC SMBios 3.1.

You've come up with a solution?

Solved!! Bluetooth 2.1 Broadcom Dungle is the problem for me. I acquired an Trust BT 4.0 and all is OK. I'm happy now. ALL SYSTEMS ACTIVATED!!
