Hi everyone!
I plan to build a hackintosh cause i need to run some CPU-burning calculations which my 2010 MacBookPro can't handle anymore. ;)
How stable is tony's build here? Can anyone say if it will be compatible with Mavericks?

Thanks for your help!

As stable as a Mac Pro or iMac. Have at it!

Thank you for reassurance.

Thanks! Parts are ordered... ;)

I found that in the display setting screen, my dp connected monitor looks like this

while my dvi connected monitor looks like this

the dp connected one seems doesn't even know it's a monitor! any thought?

Anyone been testing Mavericks install on Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H?

I guess reinstalling audio and network drivers should do, but I am not 100% sure.

I'm going to give it a go, but first I have to sort out my system freezing issue,

just can't seem to work it out.

Can't download Mavericks coz the system keeps freezing :(

tonymacx86's build is running great with Mavericks. You will have to use UniBeast 3.0 and Mavericks 6.0 to install over Mountain Lion after backing up your system. You'll need a MultiBeast 6.0 full configuration "load."

I've done this type of install on my Zorro Sandy Bridge system which you can use a guide (obviously, it uses different MultiBeast selections). Here's my post. Note that the Sandy Bridge systems require a DSDT and a special SSDT. The Haswell systems do not require a DSDT or SSDT.

This is my 1st Hackintosh and successful install of Mavericks.

The MultyBeast step was not totally clear and I have end up with this setup:

Does it look correct?

Thank you!
