I'm getting a circle with a line through it as in "No!" on top of the apple. Then it hangs.

Why won't tonymacx86 make it so that you can make a hackintosh without using a mac? Is it some legal reasons or something? This is my first post so be nice please :)

Hello!

I'm Spanish, sorry for my English...

I have Lion installed and I am trying to create a bootable usb for Mountain Lion with UniBeast 1.5.3 but in the usb write only 7.7 mb and take only 30 seconds to create it.

What is my error?

Thanks!

UniBeast does not see my USB key.. although I could perfectly partion it using my Macbook, any idea were to look? the installation skip the destination drive and it select the Macbook HD automatically... my macbook has Snow Leopard 10.6.8 ..anyone?

If you have multiple hard drives or partitions you may need to Scroll Down under "Select a Destination".

Ok my post installation is'nt working, can anyone help me with the correct options in MultiBeast?
This is my first build and I have NO IDEA what to check or uncheck here.... All that is for sure is that the installation never works.

my specs are:

GB-Z77x-UD5H-WB
Intel i7-3770
ScanDisk SSD 120GB
Seagate 1TB x 2
Asus DVD writer
TP Link WDN4800

If the USB drive is blinking and then quits, try taking it out for awhile and putting back in. That has worked for some people. It did NOT work for me. But, at the Chimera screen try USBBusFix=yes.

Fantatsic. USBBusFix=yes got me past my black screen. It should be added to the guide as one of the recommended options.

Thanks.

Specs:
Mobo: MSI P67a-G43
CPU: 2500K
Video Card: AMD Radeon 6950 1GB
RAM: 16GB
HD for OS X: OCZ Agility 2
OS X Version: Lion
Unibeast

So, I created a UniBeast USB stick, booted into it, used Disk Utility to partition and format my 60GB SSD to the Mac partition type (Journaled or whatever it is). Did the install.

Now, when I boot from the UniBeast and choose my Mac OS X installation, it just goes to a gray screen with a black mouse cursor.

A few things: When I installed, I left all my drives plugged in and also have 16GB of RAM (I never removed it so there is only 4GB). I'm not getting any errors returned to the screen.

So what are my next steps?

Same situation!!!
Did You Solve ???
