Hi anyone with similar specs manage to upgrade to Mountain Lion successfully? Let's help one another out on this one.
For my case instead of using xMove, I accidentally install Mountain Lion on my 8GB partition using UniBeast.
I manage to install ML successfully but I've got kernel panic and didn't manage to boot into ML.
At that time, I didn't have rBoot nor iBoot lying around. But somehow after playing around with -x, -s, -v, -f and -F and many round of restart i manage to boot into ML.
I proceed to install MultiBeast with DSDT but each time it said the installation failed. so i thought maybe i delete the extra folder and do a fresh install of MultiBeast. That did not make any difference. I left the computer on and headed for school.
When I got back the computer was in kernel panic. This time I had iBoot, rBoot and ML on USB drive using MultiBeast.
I tried booting from the USB and then select my Mac HD which has ML installed just like the guide advise but it got into a KP yet again.
Tried doing a fresh install from ML but every time i boot into the the ML installation screen, all my USB device got dc. I guess it got something to do with the legacy usb rollback support for 1156 chipset because I did check that box when install ML using UniBeast but i think it might still have some problems.
Anyone out there with solutions or suggestions? Do let me know which screenshot I should provide as well. Cheers and thanks in advance.
