What about the audio?

Mini-DP to DVI adapter to standard display output is also working fine. Used a cheapo one and it lit up immediately on boot plugged to the Thunderbolt port. :headbang:

I'd like to know if anyone has a Thunderbolt Display that they can test.

I'd really like to use some apple hardware in my hackintosh setup. I figure a pricey, sexy monitor is a good way to show them some love.

Yes I have one and it does indeed work.

Great news.
I really hope that we can get the hot swap working ASAP. But this will be enough for me to order the UP5 now.

IIRC the Anandtech artical suggested that there may be a BIOS component to the Thunderbolt hot swap issue but this was in reference to Windows. If its a BIOS problem it's a matter of waiting for a fix one would think,...

Great news for theses new Thunderbolt Gigabyte motherboards! Looking for the UP4 ;)

UP4 wait for USB compatibility with Mountain Lion

The big question for some of us is... Will the Apple thunderbolt Display work in ML on these boards? Anyone know yet?

I answered this just a few posts back. Yes it works just fine but as mentioned is not hot swappable. Well it is and the video will display but if you plugin while booted none of the ports, camera, mic, speakers etc work.

THEY DO WORK if plugged in from boot.

As far as the Wifi/BT just like the UD5 the BT sort of works the wifi is a no go.

are those ports also useable for graphics?
