Thanks! Your reply was helpful am about to build a new system. Using same specs, I wanted a Gigabyte Z790 D motherboard but it seen I am ending up with Asus motherboard. I am waiting for the specs detail but my build is going to be an i7-13700K, DD4 3200 64GB RAM. I am going to use Cooler Master water cooler with double fans. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks

yes, was working for the last several months, then the last upgrades it stopped somewhere?
It sounds like you are unsure of when it stopped working which means it will take some detective work on your part to sort out. When you say "Last Upgrades" I have to guess what you mean, if you are referring to OpenCore updates I think you can eliminate that unless you changed settings in your config.plist. Just updating it should not cause this that type of issue. Updates to Ventura could cause something like that but that probably means something wasn't set up in correctly in your EFI to begin with or modification could be necessary with the newer version.

Proper Sleep/Wake behavior is directly related to any third party programs installed and or hardware connected to your Hack. It's also completely reliant on a correctly set up USB Map and many times that is the reason for what you are describing. I looked at your EFI from back on the first couple of pages and without knowing more about your system and what you installed recently my tip would be to go back and work on your USB Map. The kext USBPower_Z790PLUS you are had included to map ports looks to have some problems. I would take some time and identify any hardware issues, unhook everything you don't need, check what third party programs you have installed and then once those issues are resolved try using USBToolBox in windows to remap your ports.

Thanks for your detailed response, you are right. I am going to have to try to find out where it is, it might be a software, hardware, you’re right, detective work ahead of me.

I use this one to install macOS, only difference is SecureBootModel is set to Disabled.

Obviously the USB kext has been made specifically for this build too...

Can you share your current config so I can compare?
