[Success] AMD RX6000 Series working in macOS

I think what inspired me to even buy this card was the [success] prefix to this forum's thread with BigSur in its title line.
You're probably right about the formal support, however at this point I can't even enter bios, feels like I'm stuck on the first load screen where I should be able to select DEL, F12, etc. but I can't. Nothing that I press on my keyboard makes any difference. I can reboot, returning to the same start screen.

If you don’t see the BIOS splash screen (no video output even in BIOS) or you cannot get past the splash screen, then please try:
  • Remove old GPU and install new GPU (avoid having both GPUs installed)
  • Perform CMOS Reset
  • Power up the computer
  • Do you get video signal / can you get past the splash screen?
  • If so, configure BIOS parameters (starting with Load Optimized Defaults)

You added the agdpmod=pikera boot argument, right?
EDIT: Saw someone already asked this.

Thank you guys for your kind contributions. Will add
Code:
agdpmod=pikera
First I need to get past the initial bios screen, because everything seems to be locked at that point. CaseySJ recommended CMOS reset, I totally forgot about cmos part - great point to start, and I will try this tomorrow ( my displayport->HDMI should arrive by then. Otherwise even if I succeed, I'll be limited to a single display because of no cables ). I'll post my progress shortly thereafter.
I'll have to recall how I used to backup my fine-tuned bios settings in case I need to quickly roll back to my original config in case I can't get my new GPU running quickly again.

boot arg. agdpmod=pikera

boot arg. agdpmod=pikera
That applies when booting macOS and it should be added to boot-args. At this point, however, he cannot get to OpenCore Picker. BIOS does not pass the POST operation (power-on self-test).

Got it, cmos reset and reset defaults with 64 installed before the switch may be helpful.

CSM setting in bios? Legacy or UEFI?

My post was just removed, or this is my machine is not working with 7mb video memory?

Alright, I loaded the optimized defaults and progressed with the boot up. My system is incredibly sluggish, and of course only a single monitor is loading, DisplayPort is not working at all.

Please advise, what am I missing?

Thank you

I did not know that was important at all, anyhow I cropped my original post, hopefully, this is better now.

By the way, I'm on an OpenCore 0.6.8 and I truly hope this is ok.

Hi, do you think that may be the case? Anything else I could try, I was really hoping I could avoid upgrading at this time.
