Z690 Chipset Motherboards and Alder Lake CPU

Can anyone recommend a starting point EFI for me?
Thought about starting with @CaseySJ build
Top of page 153 in this thread… ;)
With an RX 6600 XT, you need to install Monterey 12.1, currently only available as RC in the developer program.

P+HT+E is one more month to wait. Or you may compile CpuTopologySync 1.0.1 from source and try it ahead of official release with documentation.

~ UPDATE ~

We are clear for takeoff.
Replaced BCM943602BAED with BCM94352Z.

Everything is working and functional in Windows 11, will try installing macOS later tonight.
This Mini ITX Build took me around a month from planning to finish.
Full specs:

Phanteks Evolv Shift 2
Corsair SF500
z690i AORUS
i7-12700K
EK AIO 120
32GB G.SKILL TridentZ 3200@CL14
2x WD Black SD850 1TB
Gigabyte RX 6600 XT OC
Looks great! Itching to do a mini-ITX myself, but...must...wait...

Feel free to start with the EFI for Z690 Aero G, but best to disable:
  • SSDT-UIAC-xxx.aml (UIAC is USBInjectAll port map SSDT)
  • USBInjectAll.kext
And enable:
  • XhciPortLimit kernel quirk
It might also be a good idea to comment out the various DeviceProperties from config.plist in case your motherboard uses slightly different PCI paths.

Creating a custom USB port map and should be the only moderately-challenging change needed to the EFI folder.

The latest commits to CpuTopologySync have not altered its treatment of E-cores. Let's see what happens when several days to make it clean have transpired! :)

Well the weirdest things just happened.
Installed macOS just fine, everything worked besides front panel USB, so I started downloading chrome to get some kexts going.

Suddenly the os freezes and a restart happens. and now the M.2 NVMe is not detected in the BIOS!
what the hell? could it got damaged because of heat after the 30 min macOS Install?

Its a brand new WD BLACK SN850...
Trying to reconnect it..

Try a cold start first. If no luck detecting the NVMe, then try CMOS Reset.

I’m sure you know this already, but make sure the plastic protector from back of heat sink has been peeled away.

Swapped and cleaned the 2 NVMes. Both are posting again, but I don't like this too
much.
So far this is my first geekbench @ 4.8

macOS boot time is amazing! compared to my z390 Designare 9900K with Samsung NVME.
its about 5-7 sec!

Exactly! Because of that and numerous other examples, I'll be transitioning my main build from Z390 Designare to Alder Lake.
