Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Thanks, Ii understand I'm not going to overclock. The build will be just a multimedia hackintosh.
Unless you're planning on pushing the cpu, you don't need the extra pins. Some motherboards don't even have the extra connectors. You'll be fine at stock, but just make sure to watch the voltages so that they're not overly high.

@CaseySJ.

Can a GC-Alpine Ridge 2.0 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C 3.1 flashed for Mac Pro work on any hackintosh or only on Mac Pro?

I see them on ebay. I was wondering if it’s any good to buy?

It will work on Hackintosh as well, but it may experience some issues on Hackintosh that may not occur on a real Mac, namely:
  • It may be necessary to warm boot the system for Thunderbolt Bus to activate and run properly.
  • There may be some wake-from-sleep issues for certain devices.
  • Some devices may not work in Windows.
  • Thunderbolt monitors may not activate in BIOS or OpenCore, but should activate when macOS login screen appears.

If I’m continuing an offtopic sorry in advance...What I’d like to know is if a flashed Titan Ridge card for Mac Pro would work in a hackintosh ...
Thanks
