when is normal, airdrop supported channel is 149. my iPhone can find the hackintosh, and file is able to transfer.

but after waking from hibernation. airdrop supported channel dropped to 6, the hackintosh still able to find my iDevices. but file transfer is unable to establish.

my way to fix it is by reboot the machine.

running on latest opencore, using AirportBrcmFixup.kext to patch wifi,OS is Big sur

Channels are set by the router.
Channel 6 is 2.4GHz and Channel 149 is 5GHz.
It looks like after sleep your computer is joining a 2.4GHz network.
Try disabling 2.4GHz on your router and see what happens.

Edit : On second thoughts, I'm not convinced that this is relevant when applied to Airdrop.

yea.. my router's 5g and 2.4g is separated, and I have only connected 5g wifi on that machine.
