graphics issue

DVMT needs to be set to 64MB

or try the
framebuffer-patch-enable -> "Data" -> 01000000
framebuffer-stolenmem -> "Data" -> 00003001
framebuffer-fbmem -> "Data" -> 00009000

patches
Thank you very much. I inputted the patches into my config folder and it solved my initial problem.
I've have successfully entered the macOS installer, but I've found out another issue. There is no response when I just try to tap on my laptop's touchpad and I had to left click to actually select something. Is there a way to fix this?
I've also realized that in the installer, the screen is kinda scaled to like a desktop. Is there a way to make everything a bit more zoomed in? Very much appreciated

tap to click won't work in recovery / installer screen. you have to go to trackpad settings and enable tap to click. as far as scaling goes, you have a 1080p laptop and the OC.zip folder here is for 4k. maybe set the UI scale to 0. and use resxtreme to get correct resolution in MacOS

I set the UI scale to 0 but how should I work with resxtreme

I set the UI scale to 0 but the scaling remained the same. Also, how should I work with resxtreme?

Thank you very much. I was able to successfully set up macOS Catalina on my laptop. Now there are just a few things:
1. There are no sound output and inputs found. How can I fix this so I can get my audio working?
2. When I try to wake up my laptop from sleep, the entire thing just becomes frozen and all I can do is reboot my laptop. What is the problem here?
3. Finally, I pretty sure my current wifi card is not supported but what are some wifi cards that support macOS Catalina that I can get? And what do I have to configure after switching the wifi card

Regarding the first two problems, you can refer to my EFI folder here:

for audio, try different layout id. maybe 0D000000. for sleep wake issues, try this read then report back

At night the laptop kept heating up and in the morning I'd have to hold the power button to switch it off and on. I checked the logs and found out it kept waking, then going back to sleep, repeating that every minute or two. The reasons turned out to be GLAN (even though I switched Wake-on-LAN off everywhere) and XDCI _PWR methods, neither of them covered by the Dortania patches above. I removed the _PWR sections from my DSDT, then recompiled it. All is fine now.

I don't know how to not use the DSDT – Dortania guide seems a bit unclear on that, and I have quite a lot of patches there in my DSDT. Right now, though, with the DSDT in the ACPI folder, the only thing that still doesn't work is Apple Watch unlock… okay, and the chime. I'm too lazy to fix that one. If I had known OpenCore was going to be so much better, I would have started using it long ago… except I would still have had to wait for @Mrgeque's framebuffer fixes :D So grateful for those! How did you figure all of this out? I've spent days going through various guides, but none of them was comprehensive enough.

It's really interesting to use the multitouch touchscreen to see what macOS touch support would be like. Pinch-to-zoom is weirdly exciting, I keep using it in various programs just to see what happens. Looking forward to playing with the Control Center sliders and iOS/iPadOS apps in Big Sur. If everything continues to work so well for another week or so, I'll post a C930 guide (with full credits, of course).

Thank you for the audio fix. I read the article regarding the Instant Wake patch, but I don't really understand what am I supposed to do. Can you explain more about this?
try adding ssdt-GPRW

@Mrgeque
I also have another question:
So I'm planning on getting a supported WiFi card, but in the meantime, I want to use ethernet for internet connection. However, when I connect via Ethernet, it doesn't show up under Network in System Preferences. How can I get that working?
