Hey, just a quick question: if I want to download and install MacOS without the internet requirement, will I just follow the same steps but not use recovery on gibMacOS? Thanks in advance.

if you are using windows, then you can only setup the recovery usb, so you will need ethernet kext and youse your lan on your laptop.. if you have one?

or if you already have a mac:

I don't have an Ethernet port on my laptop, that's the problem :(. Should I just try to use a USB to Ethernet adapter instead? BTW, I don't have a Mac. What is the solution?

Some info: I have an Intel WiFi card on my laptop in which I could use an Intel WiFI kext, will that work?

i am not sure about the intel wifi kexts as i haven't used those, but there is no harm in trying and letting us know :)

Yeah, do you think the installer will boot? Also, would a USB to Ethernet adapter work?

i see no reason why the installer shouldn't boot with the kexts, have also never used a usb-ethernet adaptor either, sorry! maybe some trial and error may be needed :)

Yeah, got you, I am just confused because the kexts for Intel WiFi typically need to be loaded post-installation, and I'm not sure what kext to use if I use a USB adaptor, so probably just going to try it out and see if it works! :).
