The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

1st in regards to Vega64 hardware encoding, I've downloaded the DGPU-EFI.zip and followed the EFI Reset instructions on the 1st page.
Once I rebooted, I checked VideoProc and it still shows that video encoding is not available.
Any ideas on how I can do this?

2nd, could someone explain to me what the "Free 35% GPU performance bump" instructions on the 1st page is regarding?

Clover or OpenCore? Working on fixing Clover at moment.

Hi all. Does anybody know how to fix the issue that iStatMenus app doesn't recognize all cpus frequencies/temps/etc? However I have installed Intel Power Gadget. Also, it's interesting that HWMonitorSMC2 shows everything correctly.

Previously I already had it working with iStatMenus. But something is broken after I updated to 10.15.4, and updated all kexts from the latest zip of the first post.

I used ACPIMonitor.kext, FakeSMC.kext, IntelCPUMonitor.kext, Nuvoton6XXXX.kext. I guess I found them somewhere here and it just worked in the past. But now if I add them again, I can't boot anymore.

I gave up on iStat long ago. My EFIs now uses Virtual SMC with HWMonitorSMC2 and all works nicely.

Interesting stuff! Is there any insight of what the difference actually is between just using that whatevergreen.kext and injecting a fix by using an .AML file?

I am trying to clean out my Clover EFI and I think I did something wrong.

I don't see the typical progress bars on boot anymore with Clover 5112. I only see the boot menu background graphics until the logon page appears.

Anyone know what setting that is? I also am trying to centre the Clover logo int the theme but every setting I try has no effect.

Any ideas?

Solved: I accidentally changed the Boot custom logo to theme. Put back back to No and all good. Also set console mode to max because 2nd progress bar (when it loads GPU) had also disappeared. Talk about a double whammy!

Clover. I've never used OpenCore and so have no idea what to do with that. Should I hold on for you to do whatever you will do with clover? Are you going to be updating the DGPU-EFI for clover?

also,
after I've reset the EFI folder with your most recent files, do I need to redo configuring continuity (as described on the 1st page)?

Thanks for the reply. The only reason I like iStatsMenu is that it shows information right in status bar (or whatever it's called). Is that possible with HWMonitorSMC2? I mean to show information right in status bar and not just 1 single icon?

It seems to me that Clover version 5112 is somehow damaged. You should use an older version, or wait for a new one.

It would be great if Changelog were on the main page. This would allow new participants and old ones who had not been involved in the topic for several weeks or months to immediately quickly understand what has changed over the past time. This should simplify the process of obtaining information.

Is the video card recognized in your operating system?

Are you sure that you connected the HDMI / Display Port cable from the monitor to the video card? Everything should work right out of the box by default. What brand is your video card from?

Yes in "about this mac", it says Graphics Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB
I have an Asus Arez-Strix- Rx Vega64-OC 8GB graphics card
I have 2 monitors, and they are populating the Display Ports on the graphics card
