Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Hmm... You are using the correct EFI. There shouldn't be any reason you can't boot with IGPU enabled. What size did you set DVMT Prealloc to? Please try setting it to 32MB.

Sorry, but I can't find DVMT in BIOS.

It should be under the Settings tab somewhere.

I have enabled IGPU, restarted PC and only after that it has appeared ;) It was set to 64, after changing it to 32 I was able to boot and everything is working fine now. Thank you!

Hello, thanks for the Guide. It helped me getting my Gigabyte Z390 M working with Opencore. But I can't get my USB-C Port working, can you maybe help me? What can I do to get the Port working.

The port is already configured to be enabled. It is port SS02. You can look in the USBPorts.kext > Contents > Info.plist and see it there.

Please check that your cable and/or device is working. Also, do not confuse Thunderbolt devices with USB devices.

Hello @pastrychef

Trying to get familiar with Open Core, this morning I tried your OpenCore (0.5.6) EFI.
I got this error message about NVRAM, and the hack wouldn't boot, ending up in getting a black screen.
Any hints?
thank you very much!

I get that too. I don't know the cause or the fix, but everything works so I just ignore it.

Post #3 updated with info about kexts, drivers, and NVRAM.

My graphics are shown as "???". I have attached screenshot below. Is there any way to fix?

I also have another build with that gpu where it is shown as the correct Rx 570 gpu without "???". I can attach EFI Folder of another build.

Please see post #3. At the bottom, "How to populate System Information > PCI".
