legacy Ubuntu/OSX grub issues

Interestingly, your clover.plsit lets me boot directly to win10 or Ubuntu from clover!

However....
I now get the white "no entry" sign on a black screen when I try to boot OSX?

I tried the verbose option to see what was happening and got:

"This version of Mac OS X is not supported on this platform!
Reason: Mac-F42C88C8"

I remember someone helping me out with a couple of tweaks to get High Sierra working on this setup and to get round this problem, so could you tell me which parts you cleaned up before fixing the boot for win and Linux?

As I said this is just a fallback machine while I try to get my main system upgraded and I'm fully aware High Sierra is as far as it will go.

Haha! Great news! - after fiddling between the 2 configs I finally have it all working great - many thanks GB!!!!

This is back to my previous post from several weeks ago, sfter which I had to go down the rabbit hole of reinstalling again (and again and again...):

So I have 2 Linux installs on my linux SSD - Ubuntu and Kali. If I boot directly via bios I can change the selection, but via clover, the same grub menu comes up but I can't change the selection and it automatically boots into Ubuntu.

Any ideas please?

Booting the Linux drive from Clover should take you to the Grub boot screen where you can select either Ubuntu or Kali.

Yeah, but like I mentioned - if I boot via bios direct then I can select either, but via clover it brings me to the same grub boot screen but I am unable to move the selection and it automatically boots to ubuntu?

You may need to create 2 different paths in the scan Legacy part of Clover - one for Ubuntu and one for Kali.
