1820A

Modified version

During the test FI WIFI has not frozen for more than 30 minutes

We recognize WIFI after sleep.

After various tests, it is working now, but I can't explain it.

It should be helpful.

Try this driver, my xps13 9343 laptop runs stably under 10.15.2.

Do you have the source code for this? this is the only one that works because even with the latest BrcmPatchRAM3 2.5.1 from acidanthera the firmware is loaded but Bluetooth is not working... only if the firmware is loaded through Windows. I have BCM2045A0 bluetooth 0A5C:6414, WIFI adapter Foxconn T77H649.00 (Lenovo FRU (i.e. part #) 00JT494).

I checked the Logs and the one that you shared is loading the firmware differently than the new BrcmPatchRAM3.

I would like the source code so I can load a different bluetooth driver so it matches the one that the Windows is loading.

Thanks :)

Test 1
OS change from Catarina 10.15.3 to Mojave 10.14.4

1820A CN-0VW3T3 Test
WIFI stable

Test 2
Changed from CN-0VW3T3 to CN-08PKF4
WIFI Stable

Both require cache clearing with Kext Utility

Both cards are Mojave and are at no problem level with HP470G3.

Mojave is more stable than Catarina

It is Mojave that has less trouble

that's all

What are your findings with stability on Mojave compared to Catalina ?

I have a DW1820a (WLAN 106b:0023 / BT 4.1 0a5c:6412)

with regular brcmpatch kexts injected in EFI: bluetooth on but can not connect to devices.
with your version of brcmpatch kexts in EFI: bluetooth on AND can connect to devices, even after sleep.

BUT

If i reboot or turn off / turn on the computer: bluetooth on but can not connect to devices.

The only way to fix this is by removing/reinserting power cable and starting the computer from a cold boot.

Turning off or restarting the computer pretty much kills the bluetooth. I've been trying to figure it out for days.

At one point, with no changes made to anything: I was able to restart the computer about four or five times in a row and bluetooth was connecting to devices but this behaviour is now gone.

The number is different from your card.

My card:

CN-0VW3T3 Dell Wireless 1820A 802.11ac BCM94356ZEPA50DX_2 1028:0021 [0a5c:6412]

CN-08PKF4 Dell Wireless 1820A 802.11ac BCM94356ZEPA50DX_2 1028: 0023 [0a5c: 6412]

This card was tested at 10.14.4.
Result: Stable operation at {10.14.4}.
catarina (10.15.3) wifi is cut off sometime.
Time is undefined.

In addition, the test time of 10.14.4 is short, so it cannot be said that it is reliable.

Is this answer helpful?

Yes, I have it working in 15.4 with open core 0.5.6. make sure to set these kernel add settings correct.

Hi, it's been long time since i post in this thread. I've been wondering if anyone tried BT audio like airpods or other TWS, was it work well or something. because in my hackintosh it's like laggy, sometimes no sound but it's connected. airdrop works fine though.
