Hi,

I made some changes and some very good progress now:

I could not resist so I added a dedicated GPU to my system (Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX5700). Beside this I managed to get Mac OS Catalina 10.15.2 installed and its running using UniBeast. I´ve added the used EFI folder below (changed serial number of course).
However I still have an issue when it comes to shutdown or sleep for the Hackintosh. It just reboots.

Does anybody has an idea what I need to add/change to get this fixed.
Note: I am still booting from USB stick but this should not be an issue I think.

Thank you! :)

This EFI is optimised for Gigabyte z390 - Sleep/wake and Shut Down all works but I am some what reluctant to offer you this solution as it is formulated for the latest F12c Bios. If you want to try it, I suggest you copy your currant EFI Folder to a spare USB Drive incase this doesn't work.

Thank you. I´ll try and report if it works.

Just a general question regarding understanding kexts: I am still booting my hackintosh from the usb stick I´ve installed it from. When I want to try a new version of a specific kext I put it into the corresponding EFI folder on this stick replacing the older one. I assume that my Hackintosh now uses this new kext on the next start up, right? Or do I have to perform a new install everytime I insert a new kext? Thank you.

No need for a new install when injecting new Kexts. If the new configuration works and you can boot to the desktop ok, just delete the EFI Folder from the main drive and replace it with the one from the USB, repair Permissions and you should be able to boot without the aid of the USB,

Thank you. Meanwhile:

I´ve kept my original EFI folder updated all kexts again to latest version, just added the "fix shutdown" option from clover. But this did not help. I then changed SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1 and this had two effects:

- Sleep seems to work, at least monitor becomes dark (but ventilators still spinning) and after hitting a key the login screen reappears but somehow my password is not recognized again which I don´t understand at all.

- The hardware acceleration for decoding videos could be enabled from VideoProc which was not possible before.

I keep on trying...

Thank you esafeddie, thank you very much! :) It is almost done... from your EFI above I´ve just copied the USB Kext + the *.aml files from ACPI->Patched folder. Result:
- Shutdown works!
- Sleep works!

Only thing I am now fighting with is that my password is not accepted after resume from Sleep or when I want to change something in the settings. What I am going to try tonight is to do a new clean install because maybe I did something wrong initially with region/keyboard/language settings.

If you're installing onto an ordinary ssd drive, delete the NvmExpressDxe.efi driver from the Drivers Folder in Clover, this driver is for if you're running a NVMe M.2 drive. Everything else should be good to go .

Side Note - I'll be away for the weekend but will try to look in From time to time. Good luck.

As I already guessed I must have messed up during install with the language/location/keyboard settings. I did not manage to fix this so I just did a complete clean install. Now everything is working as expected. I´ve also checked imessage and facetime. No problem, all is working fine :)
I am happy now to have my first Hackintosh up and running. Thanks again for your support!
