If we assume you followed the same process, then I think it could very well be because yours came with a different model SSD.
Except for the GPU (which you'll have to disable); yours is almost the same as our models.
We will get it working, dont worry.
You might want to check the following:
- You have the latest BIOS.
- The Disk mode is AHCI is your BIOS settings.
- Does disk utility see your SSD ?
Also noticed from your picture that you are installing High Sierra.
You should be installing Catalina Or Mojave. Those two are known to work well on S340 hardware.
High Sierra is too old and may not support the modern hardware.
Why would you want to install that instead of the newer OSX ?
Hi guys,
I've been a bit busy and had no time to check the forum.
My SSD came with the laptop and it's a M2 drive WDC PC SN520 SDAPMUW-512G-1101
I also installed a 2.5" Kingston SA400S 480GB for running windows that I allready installed before trying to install OSX
I didn't know that I had to disable nvidia GPU on BIOS and run only the intel, I read somewhere that It would be on and on Mac it would not run, and when we need to run windows it allready be On!
Would be a bit of trade off but oh well !
I'm trying to install Mojave and Catalina and same result.
Disk utility sees my drive, and try to install and then gave error that shows in the picture I attached, by the way was a forum picture already, but same message.
Regarding wifi adapter, do you guys recomend the BCM94350ZAE, I found one cheap.
Thanks
