Hi,

I am a green hand and this is my first hack, I am stuck with the installation progress bar.

My desktop:
CPU: i5 9400F
motherboard: Asus TUF B360M-PLUS Gaming S
Display: Saphire RX560D
Disk: HP EX950 1TB

EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.15:
78938-NullCPUPowerManagement-1.0.0d2.kext
FakeSMC.kext
Lilu.kext

EFI/CLOVER/drivers/UEFI:
ApfsDriverLoader.efi
AptioMemoryFix.efi
DataHubDxe.efi
NvmExpressDxe.efi
AptioInputFix.efi
AudioDxe.efi
FSInject.efi
HFSPlus.efi
SMCHelper.efi

I boot from Catalina installation with verbose mode, the log shows:

The installation hangs here and seems like apfs_module_start failure?
Does the assert failure several lines above affect anything?

Thanks,
Daniel

I patched and I can see them in clover config “Options->ACPI patching->Tables Dropping” but I still got the same error. Are there any other way to make it print more detailed debug log?

Thanks a lot for your help, but I did put SSDT-EC.aml there, and file was downloaded from the forum and MD5 is 051e1e9f6083fc5ee35fcb8230253dc7 Do we have a flag to enable more detailed log to verify if the patched is loaded?

I rebuild the USB stick, instead of Catalina now I use Mojave. I put the SSDT-EC to the patched directory, now I can bypass 1683, that's sweet! But now it hangs with 1393, ahhhh

I followed the instructions below but no luck.

And I changed the thread title to 1393 and hopefully someone can help me out.

Is it due to my mother board BIOS? I followed the #19 post, but it does not work.

ahh, I think it's due to the combination of kexts and drivers. After adding and removing a couple of them it works now. I will write the config steps soon. Thanks you so much, pilgrim, this is gonna be my first hackintosh!

I was getting this very same error with FakeSMC (with Clover-configurator NVMe driver) on an Asus Z390 Gaming I ITX motherboard. What got me passed this error was using VirtualSMC, Lilu, USBInject, WhateverGreen kext ONLY with the NVMe driver installed. Everything you need can be grabbed from Clover Configurator.

Also note that my Clover-configurator installed the drivers IN THE WRONG FOLDER. Once I moved them to the proper folder, I was then able to successfully boot the installer and my NVMe issues went away, but I'm still unable to boot into MacOS (infinite apple spinning circle loop). I have been unable to get help on this issue thus far.

My 2 cents.
