The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

I have this setup, it works like a charm. I just dropped the Broadcom kexts included in the EFI folder provided by ModMike.

I use the original antennas but need to replace the lower cable - it is just too short. I also have the 3 antenna version so I added a wire antenna for BT - otherwise the range is low (like half a meter) and with my case closed basically non-existent. In the photo below only the 5MHz antenna is connected.

And, I have not disabled Wifi/BT in the BIOS settings.

Oh, and you need to remove the cooling block I think. I have to do that anyways because my CPU cooler does not fit with it.

In your kext, no third-party muffins are required, right?

The BCM943602CS has only two antennas and is smaller in height, which is why it is better suited for this motherboard.

No 3rd party stuff needed for WiFi&BT to function, right. Read some FW versions do not work right away but mine did.

I think the module itself is about the same size as they need to fit in MacBook Pro, it is my adapter that increases the height dramatically.

For me iGPU and dGPU doesnt work together. At least not very good. I cant start FinalCut with iGPU enabled. Shoulnt be a problem when u use the iMacPro SMBIOS. There is no iGPU requiered. Also PREVIEW works without iGPU on my hack. I guess sideCar should also work without iGPU. Unfortunitly i havent got an iPad to test it.

@SergDrakus The module worked for me exept for BT. But i did not try it for long... the module conflicts with my cooler (Noctua NHL12S)

Is that a Noctua NH-112? It seems your into the SFF builds. Did you encounter any issues by removing the mobo heatsinks>

It’s there for shielding as well and cools the VRMs. I wouldn’t suggest doing this. There are cards that fit perfectly into that spot.

It seems that there are no cards of the appropriate size to work without kexts. Or is there anyway?

Don't think there are that do not need a kext. What reason do you not want to use a kext? I haven't had any issues with mine. All MacOS features work including sidecar.

I think that third-party cards do not work BIOS, if you use Magic Keyboard. On my BCM, this works. Plus, the Dell module costs about $ 70., BCM - $13.

This is what I have. Works perfectly with OP’s EFI folder and kexts.

It looks good and compact!

Does it work in BIOS with Magic Keyboard?

Which model is this? How much did you buy it (price)?
