Glad to hear about your success. I've been busy and didn't follow the threat closely, so I felt bad when I first read that you had lost your machine. But having read the whole story now, I just wanted to congratulate you and thank you for sharing with the community. I've configured my s200 differently (macmini2018, instead of iMac) for Mojave. Let's see how it goes, once I proceed with the upgrade.

Thanks. It seems it doesn't matter how is configured. Serial number generated is responsible for product description in about dialog. It was macmini for me, later when I generated serials choose iMac19,2...but I see no difference.

How about benchmarking with for example geekbench 4 and 5? How about speedstep? I noticed that my cpu runs on 800mhz when system is "idle" only with iMac14,2 smbios...
With iMac19,2 smbios im unable to boot, when the igpu initializes i get a reboot... maybe it is serial related?
With MacMini2018 I have problem with dual monitor setup, need to plug in hdmi after login, or i get black screen on both displays...
Sleep is not working for me with any smbios at all, but i dont care about it, i press ctrl+cmd+q to lock the screen, in 3 seconds the displays go into standby and im happy with this :)

I see no significant difference between Mojave and Catalina. Below attached GB 4 results with two runs for Catalina.
Mojave showed similar results

I tested the MacMini8,1 smbios and there is one big difference compared to iMac14.2.
Im using two displays.. my main monitor is an LG Ultrawide 34UC74G...

With MacMini8,1 smbios im unable to set 144hz, only 100hz, but with iMac14,2 144hz works without any problems. Secondary display is an Asus MX299 at 60hz.

Very nice from an integrated gpu that it can drive two displays at 2560x1080@144hz and 60hz at the same time.
