The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

Does that support the Vega 64? I remember it didn't make it in to Mojave but there where betas after that.

I also forgot to ask, did you reset the NVRAM from clover boot clover (F11 I believe)? Did you validate that the system is writing the NVRAM to the root of your EFI? If not your config may have loathe setting, I noticed it does that every time I reset from Clover.

Another hint that the NVRAM is not writing properly is that there is no spinning clock face before sleep or shutdown,

Yes, Vega 64 is supported by Mojave!

No, I've never reset my NVRAM. I will do that !
Yes, I've nvram.plist on the root of my EFI folder, and I have the spinning clock when I sleep or shutdown

Question. I've looked your EFI. You have osxaptiofix2drv.efi. I don't have this on my EFI. (It's your EFI of May2019.) Is it important ? What's the job of this ?

It is a replacement for AptioMemoryfix. I read that Aptio was discontinued and I should use that one. Don't worry about it. Aptiomemory fix works perfectly.

You can backup your EFI and just drop mine in to see if it helps.

I don't have Aptiomemoryfix in my EFI/CLOVER/Drivers/UEFI ! it's important ?
I only have apfsdriverloader, emuvariableuefi, hfsplus and virtualSMC

you were right, I don't have spinning clock when I sleep/shutdown, just a little white square on top left of the screen

EDIT: it’s ok with osxaptiofix2drv !!! thank you @ModMike , you´re breathetaking :p

@ModMike could you help with my build. I cannot get the Bluetooth to work using a DW1560. I have the same board as you and followed your build guide just cant get it to work any advice? WiFi and Bluetooth work fine in Windows.

I had the same problem back on page 204 I replied on how I got it fixed below is what I posted

I ended up going into /EFI/ACPI/origin and renaming both DSDT-or.aml & DSDT-pa0.aml (just remove their extensions). I rebooted then Bluetooth worked perfectly. After I rebooted a few more times, I ended up renaming both files back to their original extensions. Seems to work fine now.

If you don't trust my EFI, just format a USB stick to Fat-32, drop the EFI on it, and boot from USB. If it works, you know what to do.

I'm not even sure why they are named like that, or why they are even there. Memory fails me, I will investigate.

Those 2 files are from Clover auto-patching but what I don't understand is that one seems to be related to laptop batteries. If this works, it means one of them is interfering with the BRCM firmware upload.

I would do some testing but am in the middle of building my sons rig. Will look into later but in the meantime let us know if this solution fixes your issue.

I am unable to do the following, they (System Agent Graphics Configuration) cannot be found in my BIOS. I have tried both 2603 and 2417 bioses. I am using a 9900K, is that why?

I can only find System Agent Configuration

  1. Advanced Items > System Agent (SA) Graphics Configuration > Primary Display > PEG (leave on auto if you don’t have a separate graphics card)
  2. Advanced Items > System Agent (SA) Graphics Configuration > IGPU Multi-Monitor > Enabled for DGPU, Disabled for IGPU
  3. Save and reboot to activate the RC6 and DVMT settings
  4. Advanced Items > System Agent (SA) Graphics Configuration > RC6(Render Standby) > Off - This settings disables a power saving feature that could potentially crash the system
  5. Advanced Items > System Agent (SA) Graphics Configuration > DVMT Pre-Allocated > 128

Please advice D:

I've got a extremely low geekbench score running.

1296 = Single-Core Score
6195 = Multi-Core Score

Obviously, I expected less running a i5 but something is wrong here. Any ideas?
