[Success] Mini-ITX build GIGABYTE Z390 I AORUS PRO WiFi + i9 9900K

Are you able to disable the built-in Intel Wifi/Bluetooth in the BIOS? I would be using a USB 3.0 Wifi receiver & Bluetooth parts & wouldn't want the built-in Intel stuff to interfere with the USB parts.

Yes you can Disable in BIOS.

Thank you so much for the guide. I was able to get the OS installed (I need to run High Sierra in my build) on my drive, but can only boot using the USB. I installed Clover on the boot drive, but I am running into an issue and it will hang on boot in verbose mode. It is hanging at "couldn't allocate runtime area"

in the /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI folder, I am using "OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000"

I have tried using using "slide=0" arg during boot, and that hasn't worked either. Any idea what I may be able to try next? Thanks!

Drivers and the config.plist choices are hardware-and-SMBIOS-dependent, which is why the moderators want you to list your hardware in your signature area on the left. My setup uses what you see at left on this post, and software is Mac OS 10.14.5 (Build 18F132) Mojave. I use AptioMemoryFix-64.efi plus the boot argument "slide=0" and "EmuVariable-64.efi" together. I used this same setup on High Sierra, but needed to fix the black screen (graphics card AMD Radeon RX 580 Nitro+) with PikeR.alpha's kernel patch.

So much depends on your hardware configuration that you are not likely to get useful help without a full description of it.

Hi and thank you for the guide !
I'm trying to install Mojave following your guide but I'm struggling with sleep/wake. My computer reboot when it goes into sleep mode. Any advice ?

Hi and thank you for your guide!

I followed your steps, but I got stuck at "still waiting for root device". Do you know what possibily caused this problem?

Gigabyte Z390-I AORUS pro wifi
i5-9600K
I used your EFI Files, and a USB-3.0 drive.

Thanks!

Now using Mojave 10.14.6 (Build 18G87) and all works well. Configuration at left. my EFI folder is zipped below, if that helps anyone.
