I followed the steps you indicated me and the frequencies continue the same min x16 max x33, I attach a picture of benmarck. In which he could make the mistake?

@kaiserrr,

I cant really help you from a picture, please provide Proper Problem Reporting Files using the tool in this post, follow the instructions carefully and make sure you have the correct version of IORegistryExplorerInstalled (V2.1) from this post. Be sure to press F2 and F4 in Clover before booting to MacOS.

Cheers

Hi jay

Install IORegistryExplorerInstalled (V2.1) from this post , using GENERATE PROPER PROBLEM REPORTING FILES, when run terminal said "
You forgot to press F4 or Fn+F4 at clover boot screen.
Please reboot and press F4 or Fn+F4 to dump ACPI origin files."
And I have pressed f2 and f4 in boot clover, I do not know what I'm doing wrong, what desperation ... Where the file is generated that needs to be reviewed and with what name.
The IoRegistry What function does it have?

@kaiserrr,

When in clover before you select MacOS Press F2 to dump the Pre boot log, wait about 5 seconds then press F4 to dump the ACPI tables, wait another 10 seconds then boot MacOS.

When you run the gen debug tool in MacOS as long as you have fulfilled the pre-requisites then it will put the generated debug files in a folder called debugXXXXX on the desktop .. attach this as a zip file to your next post.

Cheers

Hey, jaymonkey. Thank you for your help and assistance thru this post. I was able to get my SSDT created finally and have overclocked my i7-3770K. It's definitely still a great chip.
Question as to some direction please. I am wondering if it is possible to activate both Intel HD4000 with Radeon GPUs? If so, what's a good read on this? Thank you, in advanced and I will keep searching as well. :mrgreen:;)

@Solidww,

The IGPU should be enabled in the BIOS and the dGPU be set as the primary display adapter, some BIOS's need the option "Multi-Monitor Mode" enabled for this. Finally you need to configure the IGPU as 'Headless' using Lilu + WhatEverGreen. For HD 4000 IGPU you should use the "Headless" PlatformID of 0x01620006 or 0x01620007.

See the Headless section in Chapter 4 of this guide for more info :-

Okay, I know I am doing something wrong here. I am attaching pix as I don't see the Properties inside of the Devices area of my config.plist. Also, when I try to generate my patch in Hackintool. I am greeted with something other then numbers. Thank you for the additional help.

Okay, I went ahead and injected either of those PlatformID numbers into the Clover boot screen and viola. HD4000 with dGPU works fine but tends to hiccup and crash/Kernel panic most of the time I am using FCPX. BTW, the Hackintool search tool though 0x01620007 was the better option and it did last longer with this option before having a kernel panic.

Thoughts???

@Solidww,

I don't have any issues with FCPX ... its rock solid.

If your system is stable the rest of the time then it is unlikely to be anything to do with your IGPU config. You can check that IQS is working by using the video preview/trim feature in Finder on a H.264 encoded video if that works then IGPU is working correctly.

You not alone though .... quite a few people are reporting random crashes with FCPX, but no real clear reason or fix.

I haven't had issues with FCP X on my Mac Pro. That's been pretty solid. The crashes/KP, can happen in other ways as well on the Z77 Hackintosh, :mad:. Could it be the fact that I am making CLOVER inject the Platform ID at the boot screen? I haven't been able to correctly patch my config.plist as it doesn't seem right. Would you like me to post the pix of what I am seeing again? I wouldn't mind at all.
Thank you again.

@Solidww,

Clover can inject the IGPU PlatformID but can not patch the framebuffer on its own, for that you need to use Lilu + WhatEverGreen and define IGPU Device Properties in your config.plist.

See this Guide for info and how to do it :-
