Combat fatigue?
Hahaha, no wonder! His post(s) have hundreds of pages and there are hundreds of questions directed to him.. One can take so much. I hope @kgp makes a recover for next coming hardware :), have a good time off Mr.

Has anyone used the Prime Deluxe monoblock on a Prime Deluxe II?

Prime Deluxe II has a heatpipe which the Deluxe did not, but the board is pretty much the same minus some small changes.

Aw that's too bad. Thanks for the info!

It seems like it will fit fine, but the heatpipe is new in this revised mobo...I'll just avoid the monoblock and get a regular cpu block from EKWB.

Here's something interesting about the Radeon VII.....

On Linux (Mint), if I use the HDMI/DP audio connection, I get scratchy audio....so the audio problem with the VII is not just a macOS problem....

I wonder if this is ASUS bios related? Or Radeon VII VBIOS related.

Don't know.....it is a very new card, and good drivers really are essential. Native support is seriously lacking, as you would expect on a new card in an OS. I do not have this problem in Windows, but Windows has the official (and latest) AMD drivers installed. I do not have the official AMD drivers for Linux installed. And Linux would be the last OS to update the native drivers for a new card, so I may have to get around to installing the official AMD drivers for ubuntu....in due time......but the AMD drivers don't recognize Mint as ubuntu, and AMD does not directly support Mint, so I'll have to get around that issue before I can use the AMD drivers on Mint.......

And, on this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...pus-compatibility.269128/page-36#post-1963514, Z370 and Z390 Gigabyte motherboard users are also reporting distorted audio.....which means to me that its not just an Asus problem.....

We are talking about DP to Monitor audio, where audio comes from monitor speakers.....don't know how you connect a DP to HDMI cable to wireless headphones, but many, and I do mean many, Radeon VII users are now reporting scratchy audio when using the DP or HDMI direct connection to monitor audio.

I do not have this issue with analog audio, when I'm using external speakers and that's what I'm currently using. That's okay for now, but not for the long term.

Hey everyone! I have been out for a few weeks. I recently switched to OpenCorePkg and I've been having a great experience so far with it.

In other news, very excited to see what's gonna be announced next week :p
