Asus X299 - Support

It’s this one. On the card it says Bluetooth 4.0 but it’s actually 4.2 (the highest we can get on a Hackintosh)

Looks like the one I linked with a different sticker.

Anyone has any hint about @kgp updating his GitHub Page with new releases of EFI folders and SSDTs? Do the latest Multi/Unibeast releases support X299? Should we will be able to update our systems simply by updating Clover and kexts? Thanks.

I’m not sure he will but should be fine to just update clover/kexts using clover configurator. Newer usb patches will probably need to be mentioned in this thread through.

Yes you can manually update clover and kexts separately.

I don’t think he’s coming back.

What’s inside is what counts. Another user ordered from Ali and it didn’t work for some reason.

Nope it's good to repeat once in a while since they tend to get lost in the pages. I repeat my thoughts on the sage boards too  Thanks for your input and it’ll be good for others. I have a tendency to try different motherboards when I should just stick with one so looks like I should stop looking around.

What do you think about this Wifi card? BCM943602CS. Is this the same as yours?

That one has BT4.0 which won't work well with AirPods for example (haven't tried with other bt headphones). This one is the one I have which I think @izo1 linked in the other thread.

Maybe we should keep a list of "golden" hardware in the first post :p

This was a cheaper one that seemed like the one I use, but from another user who bought it it was either defective or fake Chinese knock off. It looks different.

I can't seem to find the one I posted anywhere else cheaper.

Note to anyone updating clover

I personally use unpkg to extract the latest clover and replace the old files.

Added: unpkg app

So got my jumper cables in today and plugged in pins 3 and 5 on the titan ridge. Good thing is it's detected on boot without anything plugged in but it looks like the SSDT still needs some adjustments since as-is it ends up disabling the ports. Not sure if this is just Sage specific

Edit: Update to 10.14.5 PB 4 went smoothly with clover v4924
Edit 2: Not having any luck with enabling Thunderbolt without the header + SSDT. Anyone have any luck with this?

Yes, 10.14.5 B4 seems just fine; but no big improvements in speed or features either, at least so far as I've found.....very routine, at least for me.....

10.14.5 B4, any upgrade for Radeon VII ?
