The special iMac 10.14.4 build is around. I would install this first and then try the 19,1 or 19,2 SMBIOS. Or just wait to 10.14.5, but people reported that this didn't show the i9 correctly, i guess, but Im not very sure...

If I now download the OS from App Store
Will this be the right version for iMac 2019?

Or where do I download the right version?

its work for me
i jest cant not set the CPU model

i get error for replies the AppleSystemInfo file...

Does anyone know how to do this?

iMac Early 2019 (iMac 19.1 and iMac 19.2) use a macOS version (18E2034), is different from the current compilation 10.14.4, probably we have to wait for the 10.14.5 to obtain a full support for our processors and to be recognized natively by macOS.

It is also said that in reality the new iMac, use CPU-KF, with disabled iGPU, this could also be the reason why even macOS does not recognize our CPUs correctly.

Since the 21.5 inch versions have the 8th Gen chips with UHD630 it would be interesting to know if those are using the iGPU headless or not. They have dedicated Radeon Pro gfx. Anyone have any info on this or bought one of these yet ?

Yeah I've seen that chart on MacObserver, they didn't list a source for where they got that information though, so I'm not sure I believe it.

Why would all of the 2019 iMacs have iGPUs, except for the most expensive model?

I have build 18E2034 with the 19,1 SMBIOS and still shows Unknown CPU. Is there any ioreg dumps from the new iMac with i9-9900k?

Clover Configurator was updated with 19,1 and 19,2 SMBIOS.
What's the point of using these SMBIOS if CPU is still "unknown"?
Is there any benefit compared to 18,3?

AppleInsider claim the processor is a 9900K, in the comments at the bottom of the page

Max Yuryev is testing an i9-9900K iMac in this video and he says it's using Quicksync.
