@Ellybz
yeah, I noticed that the kext is not changing a lot for me compared to the port limit patches in my config.plist i had before. but I personally think it was a very very good task, to get a better understanding of how to work with ioreg and get deeper into the Hackintosh materia.

I noticed by myself that a lot is working kinda oob, I do not have a patch for my sound either I do have a kext, only the ssdt for HPET(?) and it works perfectly fine over DisplayPort/HDMI Audio.

But I have one weird issue, I mentioned this in the thread of kgp.
As soon as I plug in my Logitech G910 Keyboard into my Hackintosh. Turbo boost is running as long as the pc is on. even if I unplug the keyboard again, turbo boost stays active.
Have you ever heard about such behaviour before?

Check your BIOS setup. Lastly, because GA mobos use hubs for XHCI, try to connect your keyboard in a different USB port. Late here. Going to bed. I do not check posts often. Hope you'll find the solution soon.
Edit: My wireless keyboard and mouse are connected to the internal USB 2.0 Port. I use one of these.

hey @Ellybz ,

if you are talking about this here

Find: 31D2E891 FCFFFF
Replace: 31D29090 909090

mentioned it to me and it sadly does not work. I can not 100% recap what happens, but @franksanderdo is helping me currently getting the EFI setup straight, I assume the fix for my issues with wake-sleep will come hand in hand with this.

if you are talking about something else, please let me know :)

Hello dude,

can you share me your EFI ?
Because with all the EFI shared here for the Ultra Gaming, I don't know which patches I need to apply like _OSI -> XOSI, I get a lot of KP when I run After Effects.

hey @goldorac ,

my EFI folder won't help you. i have a x299 board. you have a Z97A. Those are different chip sets.
Also i am still struggeling with alot of issues, so i would not recommend to use my EFI folder currently to anyone.

I am building an Hackintosh for a friend so don't worry !
But if you said it for EFI ! Also your USB kext that you shared is correct or no ?

Update:

Turns out my KPs were due to my system not being on the latest Bios firmware...or so I think. They seemed to have gone away after the firmware update.

The only issue I'm having now is being able both of my two monitors. Right now my workaround is booting up with my DVI connected monitor first, then plugging in the HDMI monitor. If I boot with both of my two monitors at once, then it goes to a no input screen on both monitors. No restarting though or any KPs that appear after restarting, so I think it boots up, but doesn't give video input. I'm using the Nvidia Webdriver 387.10.10.10.40.105.

So did you get a perfect working Hackintosh ? Can you share your EFI please to see that ?
Same question for @robifis

@goldorac ,

If you want to build your friend a hackintosh and he has a X299 board, I recommend you just go the standard way.
Create a installer stick with your Mac for Mojave. and use the latest Clover to install the default kext files (which are automatically checked) + the AptioMemFix.

if you start like this, and run into issues, people can help you better then just taking the EFI of a system, which is not stable yet, and customized towork with a specific board. You guys will have more problems by doing so, then starting from scratch.

I think that I write too quickly.
The Hackintosh is working, the only problem that we have is some random KP under after effect and a non working sleep.

I have finally get it stable with Enhanced Multi-Core Performance: disabled and updated the BIOS to last version !

Hi Tepoo (and other users too). @Tepoo Could you please share here your EFI folder? I am curious about some DSDT patches you picked ...thanks in advance.
