Are you using a custom SSDT for your USB ports ? I'm not certain but it's likely that someone with this motherboard has posted one here somewhere in this thread. You can also create your own. I don't believe that hackashaq used one with his machine. Not certain what is causing your problems with Handbrake. Would be a good idea to enable the iGPU in "headless mode" to help with encoding/decoding. DRM issues can usually be resolved by using Whatever green kext and specific boot flags such as Shikigva.

I am not using a custom SSDT, but will look into that further if it's needed.

Whatevergreen is one of the fixes I've been trying for DRM, but for some reason the kext won't load. I may have a version incompatibility with it and the version of Lilu I have loaded (they should both be the latest), which is next on my list to check out.

Is it possible to search only within a single thread on this forum?

Even some moderators that have been here years couldn't find it initially. Look for the spyglass icon in the upper right corner of this page.

One more thing you'll want to do is to disable the Port Limit patch. This patch is known to cause problems, it causes access outside a fixed array bounds. I don't believe that disabling it is part of this guide. You can easily do this using Clover Configurator or just completely remove it from the config.plist. It was originally used when installing High Sierra (that's why it's part of post #1) but no longer works in Mojave 10.14.3.
 
Any Gaming 7 owners that are using the UHD 630 igpu in headless mode ? Could you post a mini-guide here on how to do that ? Would be helpful to those just starting out with this guide.
