[Solved] Installation couldn't allocate runtime area error

Attached is a modified EFI. Please backup your existing EFI folder, then delete it from USB disk and replace with the attached version (be sure to rename it to "EFI").

Please note that your nVidia card is not supported by Mojave. I have disabled everything in EFI pertaining to nVidia cards. Your system should still function using Apple's default display driver. It will give you very slow video performance, but right now we're not concerned about accelerated video -- we're just concerned about getting Mojave installed.

Totally agree, I'll try it now.

I used Unibeast to generate the config, and a clover config to edit the EFI after this config. I'm blocked just after starting the macOS partition of my USB drive I can't event pass to the screen to install macOS.
If you can get an inexpensive "Mojave-supported" PCIE Graphics like Nvidia GT 710 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AZ7M2OY/?tag=tonymacx86com-20, that needs no changes to your config.plist ("working OOB"), you can end this Marathon troubleshoot to nowhere. If you want a more powerful PCIE Graphics, you will have to use AMD's Cards. Waiting for Nvidia to issue Webdrivers looks like an indefinite wait.

Your System should not have any big problem to run macOS High Sierra with Nvidia web drivers, but for Mojave it is a lost cause.

This version uses "AptioMemoryFix-64.efi" without "slide=0". As mentioned earlier, we have have to try:

  • AptioMemoryFix-64 with slide=0 --> does it work?
  • Replace AptioMemoryFix-64 with OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and slide=0 --> does it work?
  • Try again but without slide=0, does it work?
OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 can be downloaded from Bullet #3 here:
https://nickwoodhams.com/x99-hackintosh-osxaptiofixdrv-allocaterelocblock-error-update/

It seems to work I have passed the error with -> "Replace AptioMemoryFix-64 with OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and slide=0". I try an install, what is the next step for the graphic ? Thank you so much !

Thanks for your answer, I can't download a High sierra with my actual setup, any way to get it ?

At this time Nvidia GTX1080, 970, 980 cards should not be used with Mojave. Nvidia might release Mojave drivers in the future, but no one knows when this might happen.

The best solution is to use an AMD RX or Vega instead. Even RX570 (low cost) will work immediately.

I have already a windows 10 installed, I need mac for a workstation and if it works with high sierra it's perfect for me, I try to get High sierra.

I haven’t done this myself, but if you Google for “High Sierra direct download” you might find a usable link. Then you would have to build the USB again using UniBeast 8.

I have installed MacOS High sierra, but now I'm blocked with Multibeast... I can't install Ethernet Drivers and graphics driver...

  • Your Ethernet needs IntelMausiEthernet.kext
  • It must already be there in your USB installer's EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other .
    • If not, you should get it from Tonymac Download . Download Now 57.2 KB .zip
    • Use KextBeast from Tonymac to install by drag and drop method of downloaded kext
  • For your Nvidia you need to Download Webdriver for your version of macOS High Sierra , example 10.13.6 from Tonnymac Downloads :WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.113.pkg
  • The steps to install must be carefully done as it involves ENABLING SIP in CLOVER ( config.plist> Rt Variables> CsrActiveConfig must be changed from current 0x67(SIP Disabled) to 0x00(SIP ENABLED) before launching the downloaded Nvidia Driver install file.
  • After install and reboot SIP Disabled by reversing config.plist>Rt Variables editing.
  • Make sure your CLOVER/kexts/Other has latest Lilu.kext and Whatevergreen.kext.
  • Make sure your BIOS Graphics are for PCIE and NOT IGFX.
