I was also going to mention Bios issue or overclocking issue. Odd. Do you have KP with both EFIs?. Are you running the latest Bios? Clover bootloader? Did you also have similar KPs with your your previous GPU?
I tried with the safe EFI and something went horribly wrong. Now the system is extremely slow. Right now I am trying to remove the EFI and put either your “non-safe” EFI or the one I previously had to at least get it up to usability for now.

Best Audio problem solution... Your ears will thank you! View attachment 372378View attachment 372379
Naaaaaah:D:p:lol:
I'm an audio engineer and the cirrus logic chipset CS4392 in your DAC recommendation ( Max resolution is 24 bit ) doesn't compare to the ESS SABRE 9018 chipset ( Max resolution is 32 bit ). The GA x299 gaming 7/9 (And probably the designare as well ) carry this chip ( ESS 9018) as well as many top of the line ADC/DAC equipment you'll find in the biggest recording studios around the world ( Abbey Road Studios London, Skywalker Ranch, just to name a few ). Here are few good DACs in my opinion.
- https://benchmarkmedia.com/collections/digital-to-analog-audio-converter . ESS SABRE 9018
- https://www.weiss.ch/products/dac202 . ESS SABRE 9018
- https://www.lynxstudio.com/products/hilo/ . Cirrus CS4398 DACs and CS5381 ADCs
PS I know they're not cheap. So best cheaper solution is still patching the Audio from the GA motherboard, Lol.
Cheers

Try this one. Clover Bootloader is up to date. After that, I'm out of ideas, :p

ok I am back in business (at least usable when there's no panic).
So I have not seen panics with my previous GPU.
I am running Clover v4798, and the BIOS version is 1503 (I moved to 1603, but it made all my USB ports go away, so I moved back to 1503. With the USB patch you very kindly provided, does BIOS 1603 work?).
Yes I am getting panics with both safe EFi and the other one.

Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

Look at the description on clover configurator. I don't think you need or want it.
So there is an msdosfs.kext in /System/Library/Extensions. Should I just delete it?

No you should not.. but msdosfs.kext was always at prominent position of your KP reports..

is this a Logitech Driver? If so, uninstall and reinstall latest drivers..80% sure your KPs are linked to a driver from an outboard equipment ( If not Bios ). Last advice on my part..I'm out of ideas now :lolno:
