OK, reporting back with some great news!
  • Mojave 10.14.1 booting and working.
  • WiFi/BT working with DW1830.
  • Emulated NVRAM is required.
  • i9-9900K works great, temperatures are also very good and power management is as expected.
  • FaceTime/iMessage/etc all work.
  • BIOS is the first version released, 04xx. The latest is too buggy for my linkings.
Next steps:
  • Audio isn't showing up yet, need to investigate this one.
  • Check if sleep works.

So far, I'm very impressed.

Power management should work if you have PluginType=True in config.plist.

For audio, do a search for "AppleALC 1.3.4 debug" or just compile if yourself.

Will try soon, thanks for the input. Yeah the PluginType is what I'm using.

I can also confirm sleep works perfectly.

Including 'deep sleep'? That's usually the main test because a lot of systems have trouble waking up from being in sleep mode after several hours.

I haven't tested that yet, what are the usual steps to make sure deep sleep works?

Hi vincek8s, I have the same mobo, how could u fix the USB? All ports on my mobo are running in USB 2.0 mode. Tried many ways, none of them work on 10.14.1. Used your SSDT-4.aml, still doesn't work : (

I have USBInjectAll for now, I have to patch SSDT at some point.

That said, in your EFI folder you should be able to dump ACPI tables by pressing F4. Make sure the patch you applied (the one I posted) matches the one dumped by Clover.

Thank you for your reply. I compare my SSDT-5.aml and your SSDT-4.aml, then modify my SSDT-5. I use the newest USBinjectall, but USB still doesn't work. Is there thing further should I do to make USB work corrected, like bios setting?

@vince8ks I am nearly done acquiring components and wanted to know if I still need to get a separate Bluetooth wifi card.

Are the on-board ones finally supported? IF not is the DW1830 still the best choice? Is it a drop in replacement form factor wise?
