[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

One more question! I have triple boot system: Ubuntu, Windows 10 and macOS. Some times macOS failed to boot. Booting stops at the begging when apple appears and before progressbar and safe mode with -v option stops on +++++++++++++++++++

More often after reboting from Ubuntu. Helps only booting into Windows and back to macOS. Sometimes macOS boot without issuies... It is very random... Is it happens because I install bootloaders (grub, bootmgr and clover) on ESP or maybe apfs.efi doesn't load correctly? How can I fix macOS boot?

You forgot AptioMemoryFix.efi.
Read guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

As I said, use your USB Clover (the same one you used to boot the installer) to boot the system.

That config.plist is for post-install scenario (on EFI/Clover on main drive), not USB pre-install.
And the rest of your EFI/Clover (kexts, drivers64UEFI) is also wrong.

See guide:

I Already make Pre-built Clover. and kernel panic at ACPI Battery...
Did I Miss Something ?

Thank You

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete (no verbose boot photo attached)
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

The EFI/Clover you attached is also not according to the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

I'm assuming the EFI/Clover you attached is your attempt at creating an EFI/Clover suitable for the installer. The one you attached is neither suitable for the installer, nor for your main system partition (eg. not suitable for pre-install or post-install).

Now your config.plist is correct for USB EFI/Clover, but ACPI/patched is wrong (should be no files there).
drivers64UEFI is ok, but you could probably use AptioMemoryFix*.efi instead of OsxAptioFix*.efi.
GenericUSBXHCI.kext can be deleted.

Why do you have AptioMemoryFix.efi... As far as I remember, in my Clover build it is installed as AptioMemoryFix-64.efi.
You forgot to press F2 and F4 before collecting EFI/Clover (please read FAQ, problem reporting).

#2952

Tried these
-uia_exclude_hs
-uia_exclude=HS06
-uia_exclude=HP11

It still doesn't work. Read USBInjectAll README but didn't understand much

No problem reporting files attached.

But your mistake is obvious. You're misspelling uia_exclude. The option is 'uia_exclude' not '-uia_exclude'.

Your revision of Clover is not the recommended (RehabMan) build.
Install Clover, latest RehabMan build.
Then rebuild cache, then reboot.
If still not working, read guide regarding EDID patching. Note that you will need to inject patched EDID via config.plist/Devices/Properties (because currently EDID fixing not supported when using Devices/Properties).
Backlight guide reference:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...rol-using-applebacklightinjector-kext.218222/
I installed your recommended version of clover. Rebuilt the cache, restarted nothing happened. Force shutdown(pressing power button for 5 sec), turned on and brightness controls were working. The same thing happened before. Now that the brightness controls are working would you look at the files? Seems like patching is done alright. I dont know a thing about patching, so it will be a hassle doing it all myself.

P.S. Why prefer RehabMan build over regular latest clover?
