Hmm... It was the SSDT-PNFL.aml patch that caused the reboot, which was patching the brightness basically

When I have nothing in the acpi/patched folder, the kext works like a charm, when I place something in there, it reboots, Currently debugging

The guide isn't only about replacing your config.plist.
You should build and install the hotpatch SSDT with 'make' and 'make install'. In other words, you should read the guide clearly and follow it as written.

Followed the steps. All worked great until I replaced the config.plist "./Y520.sh --install-config"

After installing the sleep/wake kext my computer reboots instead of waking up. Anyone encounters this issue ?
Installed the kext in the usual location Library/Extensions and rebuilt the cache

doesn't happen to me it wakes perfectly fine.

@raff, ok it's working now, but when I wake the computer from sleep and touchh the keyboard, everything goes crazy, mouse left click becomes right click too and keyboard doesn't work

This is Trakpad related issue. We have no other choice unless someone updates elan drivers

I used abdulilah's guide and everything is decent there, except the audio which is done with AppleHDA, that does't work for me, it's extremely buggy and no idea how to replace it with AppleALC. Now trying to install his keyboard driver or whatever to have it working after sleep, maybe you have an idea what kext / aml is used for thet ?
