I said OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and not OsxAptioFix!

Search in Google, download and copy the file and /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/

Don't forget to remove AptioMemoryFix.efi in this case..

Sorry I typed in short form. Yes, I've followed and again no go.

Error allocating 0x3587 pages at 0x000000001a7f0000 alloc type 2
End LoadKernelFromStream
ERROR!!! Load prelinked kernel with status 0x8000000000000009
Error loading kernel cache (0x9)

Looks like I have to open up the case to short the reset pin this weekend. Thanks KGP for your help. I'll post my update again after the BIOS reset.

Does anyone have an issue with Premiere Pro CC2018 freezing the whole system when you use "Hardware Acceleration" option in it's export options with a Vega card?

Note that the "Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL)" works fine under Media Encoder.

Hi KGP, I looked through your Sierra guide and think of trying that as well. Is the graphics problem with Maxwell improved? The Workaround b) looks really confusing. I hope Sierra install is less problematic than High Sierra currently. You reckon? Thank you. :)

Hi @garbage914

as it happened with moving the machine, consider resetting the graphics card / other cards as well.
Would not be the first time that one of the cards slightly slipping out of the socket can cause such an issue.

All the Best
Frank
Thanks @franksanderdo. I tried unplugging and replugging and still didn't work. Had to reset BIOS.

Hi x299 builders!

I've a fully functioning x299 hackintosh build running on 10.13.6 with the exception of DisplayPort on my Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 64. HDMI works fine but maxes out at 30p on my 4k monitor.

The card has 4 ports- 2 HDMI and 2 DisplayPort. With the DisplayPort connected I can see the Bios splash screen and clover in 4k but when the OS takes over from the bootloader the screen goes blank.

I had the card with DisplayPort working successfully on my old haswell 4770k system and 10.13.4. My monitor is the NEC 322UHD. The DisplayPort of my old HD7970 works perfectly with this current x299 setup.

Any help would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Hi all,
this is my first post on this list. At first, many thanks to all, especially kgp, for all that informations! I tried to read and understand everything in this guide but unfortunately don't even get managed to start the OS Installer from my USB stick (see error message). Here's my story (excuse if it's long):
I bought my system from a video dealer, these are the specs:
ASUS X299-A Prime, i9-7900X @3,30GHz, Nvidia GTX1080Ti, 4x 16 GB DDR-4 2666, 2x SSD Samsung 970EVO500 (one for win10, the other for MAC), Asus TB3 adapter, Blackmagic Video Card. We use the system under windows but also want MAC OS on it.
At first I took out all extra cards (but not the Nvidia) to do a clean install.
Because I have no MAC where I can format this SSD type, I took another SSD to install MAC OS, which I formatted on my MAC, put the EFI folder on it and, once successfully installed, would carbon copy this to the target drive.
At first I followed "UniBeast: Install macOS High Sierra on Any Supported Intel-based PC", and followed the BIOS settings of this guide, except DDR RAM speed and X.M.P., but got error. Then I used the EFI folder of this guide,
today the EFI folder "EFI-X299-10.13.6-Release-iMacPro1,1-280718", just edited the config.plist to add a unique UUID.
I tried different combinations (AptioMemoryFix-64.efi, OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi to OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi and also OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi as suggested) but always get stuck while starting.
Can anybody give me a hint where to start? Thanks in advance!

Did you add TSCAdjustReset.kext?

Use my system SSDT for the Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 64..

Forget about Sierra on X299 with Nvidia.. we are already with 10.14.. So why to use 10.12 instead?
