I was watching it in hwmonitor while I was running the benchmark, and the multiplier was staying below 50. But to be honest, the temps stayed so low, that I really can't complain too much.even I have overclocked it to 5ghz ... greekbench reads the bios processor type after the manufacturer's id and puts its default settings ... unfortunately this is and we can not do anything to see the real value of the frequency...
do you use the intel power gadget to view the CPU usage percentage?
yes, rarely it reaches 100% ... only the temperature varies depending on the CPU usage
This might actually extend the life of the processor by a lot the way it's working. And it seems to kick it up to 5ghz on extended hard tasks like compiling a large codebase, so that's just another thing I'm going to leave alone I think. Might save my power bill when I'm just surfing or playing a game (or allow the gpu to boost higher since the cpu isn't heating up the water too much).
