My laptop won't boot!

Thank you for the clarification. I will update you in the results of my trial-and-error situation.
I just tried booting my USB. I followed the guide. Oddly, I got this screen. This is the first time I had encountered this. Whenever I select "Continue", the screen just turns black and goes back to the same screen.(see attachment) :(

Edit: grammar and spacing

Nevermind, just encountered the "big list of solutions" aftera quick google search. However, uoon selecting the "BOOTX64.efi" file, I am transported back into this screen.

when you installed clover to the usb, did you use legacy?

Yep. I used Clover Legacy. As far as I know, this laptop doesn't support UEFI, and it's pretty old, like 2009 old.

you will have to upload your problem reporting files

also check over your BIOS settings and make sure they are correct

If you're booting legacy, you should install boot records from official Clover. I do not test the RehabMan Clover build with legacy.

Thank you for the reply. I actually did use an official build of Clover to get the Legacy bootloader working.

I have now solved the booting part and all. It now boots and is quite fast, with even my old NVIDIA G102M graphics and AR9285 working out of the box. Now, my only concern is to get my external USB Keyboard and mouse working because only the built-in PS/2 Keyboard/Trackpad works. I need the external one because not all of my laptop's keys are not working (an old issue even before I tried Hackintoshing this machine). I have tried the boot flag USBBuxFix=Yes, and in the config.plist, USBFix was on, same for AddClockID, FixOwnership, HighCurrent, and Inject, all of which are on.

I'm sorry for the late reply because I was out for a quite a few days and didn't really get to touch my Hackintosh. I did follow the guide, but decided to use the official version of Clover's bootloader on my installation media and post-install. Everything booted and is fine and dandy. Even my AR9285, which previously required a kext, works right out of the box.

Regardless, my current concern is now my USB keyboard and mouse for I cannot use the machine properly without them; some of the keys of my laptop's PS/2 keyboard is broken and I just prefer using a USB mouse. Previously, when I used Chimera, the USB keyboard would work yet my USB mouse wouldn't, but after running Multibeast, the USB mouse would then follow suit in working.

tl;dr USB keyboard and mouse no longer works in OS X when I have Clover Legacy as my bootloader and I need assistance because I really need it to work

You are not clear on the issue.
USB not working in OS X or just not working in Clover?
